We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your situation, lifting you up in prayer. It is clear you are seeking restoration and renewal, and we join with you in asking the Lord to grant you wisdom and strength as you pursue His will for your life and career.
The Bible tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We stand on this promise, believing that God will restore your wisdom as you seek Him earnestly. Strength, too, is found in the Lord—Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." We pray that you would wait on the Lord and find your strength renewed in Him.
We also recognize your desire to reach the "top of your career again," and we want to encourage you to seek God’s definition of success rather than the world’s. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." True success is found in aligning your ambitions with God’s purposes. Ask Him to reveal His plans for you, that you may walk in them with humility and faithfulness.
Father, we pray that You would restore this dear one’s wisdom, that they may discern Your will in every decision. Grant them strength to persevere through challenges, and fill them with Your peace as they trust in You. May they seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You open doors of opportunity that align with Your perfect will, and close those that would lead them astray. May their career be a testimony to Your faithfulness and glory.
We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). It is through this relationship that you will find true wisdom, strength, and eternal security.
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is for you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
