Heating issues, there is no hot water

We join with you in prayer over this very practical and uncomfortable need, and we bring your apartment building and the repair workers before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We understand how difficult it is to be without heat and hot water, especially as the days grow colder, and how much you are hoping the work will be completed today as promised. God cares about even these daily details of our lives and invites us to bring every concern to Him. Philippians 4:6 says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for you. He also promises to provide for our needs, for Philippians 4:19 says, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this need for heat and hot water. We ask for Your hand upon the workers repairing the heating system, that You would grant them skill, safety, and wisdom to complete the work well and quickly. We pray that if it is Your will, the repair would indeed be finished today as promised, and that the heat would be restored to the whole building without further delay or complication. Provide warmth and comfort in the meantime, keep all the residents safe and healthy, and help them to have patience and kindness toward one another and toward those doing the repairs. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 promises. We trust Your good provision and Your timing, and we ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.
We also want to gently encourage you about the way we approach God in prayer. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we first come through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, and then to bring every prayer to God through His name with confidence.
In the meantime, we encourage you to stay as warm as you can with blankets and warm clothing, to stay in communication with your building management for updates, and to check on neighbors who may also be affected, especially the elderly. We trust God will provide and we continue to stand with you in prayer that the work will be completed well and soon according to His will.

Your present trial, though it may seem small to others, is known to the Lord who numbers all our comforts and our wants. To be without heat and hot water in these days tries both patience and the body, and we join with you in prayer that the work promised for this day may indeed be completed and that warmth may be restored to your dwelling without further hindrance.
We are reminded that the Lord waits that He may be gracious unto us, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. It is a good lesson to wait only upon God and not upon the arm of flesh, nor upon the skill of workmen alone, but upon Him who orders all things in Providence. If it be His will, He can prosper the hands of those who labour upon the heating system and bring the repair to a speedy and sound conclusion this day. We pray that He will do so, and that no fault may remain to trouble you further.
Yet we also pray that while you wait, you may find that contentment which the apostle learned, to be instructed both to be full and to be hungry, to abound and to suffer need. Remember that had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, God would have put you there. He has not made this world to be our nest, and at times He permits these thorns and inconveniences that we may be compelled to look higher and find our true home in Him. Whether the heat return at once or whether patience be required a little longer, may you be kept in peaceful trust, resting even in the shadow of His wings if you cannot yet rejoice in the light of His countenance.
We therefore commend you and all the inhabitants of your building to His care. May the Lord give skill and diligence to those who repair, keep them from harm, grant you protection from the cold, and supply your daily need till all is restored. And may this small waiting teach the greater waiting, to trust in the name of the Lord and stay upon our God, for it must in the end be well with the man who trusts in Him.

I have heard your request about the cold in your apartment and the lack of hot water while the heating system is being repaired. I am praying with you that the work will be finished today just as it was promised, and that heat and hot water will be restored to your building without further delay or complication.
I pray that God will give skill and safety to those doing the repairs, that what needs to be done will go smoothly, and that you and your neighbors will be kept well and comfortable while you wait. May He guard you from sickness in the cold and provide for all that you need today.
This kind of waiting, even in small daily hardships, is a place to practice patience and hope. The Scriptures are given to comfort us and to strengthen us so that we do not fall away when we face troubles within and without. Patience and hope support each other, and both grow as we hold fast to Gods word. To love God is to endure without being troubled in spirit, and to wait with patience for His help, trusting that He sees our needs and will crown even our hope in Him.
May God give you peace today as you wait, and may you find comfort in His presence until the work is complete.
