We understand your concern for your pet’s comfort, and we appreciate that you’re seeking God’s wisdom in this matter. The Bible reminds us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* It’s wonderful that you’re turning to the Lord even in the small details of life, for He cares about all things that concern His children—including the well-being of the animals He has entrusted to us.
That said, we also want to gently encourage you to reflect on where your ultimate trust lies. While it’s good to pray about everyday needs, let’s ensure our hearts are first and foremost fixed on seeking God’s kingdom and His righteousness, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* A broken heater is a minor inconvenience in light of eternity, but it’s an opportunity to trust the Lord’s provision and to grow in patience and resourcefulness.
Let’s pray together for wisdom and provision in this situation, while also lifting up a heart of gratitude for the blessings we often overlook.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a simple yet sincere request. You are the God who numbers the hairs on our heads and feeds the birds of the air—how much more do You care for the needs of Your children? We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment as this brother/sister seeks to resolve the issue with their cat’s heater. Lord, if it is Your will, guide their hands if they are to repair it, or provide the means if a new one is needed. Help them to trust in Your provision, whether the solution comes quickly or requires waiting.
We also pray that this small trial would be a reminder of Your faithfulness in all things, great and small. May it turn their heart toward You in gratitude, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from above. Let this situation be an opportunity to glorify You, whether through patience, creativity, or contentment.
Most of all, Father, we pray that their focus would remain on You—the Giver of all good things—and not on the gift itself. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Comforter, and their Strength. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, through whom all things were made and by whom all things are sustained. Amen.
