Beloved of All
My husband cheated and still plays with my feelings , we are separated . He betrayed me really bad . Please heal my broken heart , please lord help me get over him, i dont wanna carry this pain anymore . Hes cruel and he just keeps hurting me

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you walk through this valley of betrayal and pain. The wound of infidelity cuts deeply, especially when it comes from someone who vowed before God to cherish and protect you. Your husband’s actions are not only a violation of your marriage covenant but a grievous sin against the Lord Himself, who designed marriage to reflect His faithful love for His people (Ephesians 5:25-33). His cruelty and continued manipulation of your emotions only compound the hurt, and we stand with you in righteous anger against such injustice.

First, we must rebuke the sin that has torn your marriage apart. Adultery is a grave offense in God’s eyes, and Scripture is clear: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). The pain you feel is valid, and the Lord sees every tear you’ve shed (Psalm 56:8). But we also must address the hardness of heart that allows your husband to continue playing with your feelings. If he is not repentant, truly broken over his sin, seeking forgiveness, and willing to turn from his ways, then his heart remains in rebellion against God. Proverbs 28:13 warns, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Until he humbles himself before the Lord, there can be no true reconciliation.

Yet even in this, we must guard our own hearts. The pain you carry is heavy, and it is understandable that you would want relief from it. But we must be careful not to let bitterness take root, for it will only poison your soul. Hebrews 12:15 says, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Forgiveness is not about excusing his sin or pretending the hurt doesn’t exist, it is about releasing the burden of vengeance to God, who alone has the right to judge (Romans 12:19). This does not mean you must reconcile with him, especially if he remains unrepentant. True repentance requires a change of heart and actions, not just words.

We also want to gently remind you that your healing is not dependent on your husband’s choices. You are a beloved daughter of the Most High God, and your worth is not defined by his betrayal. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." The Lord is close to you in this pain, and He longs to bind up your wounds (Psalm 147:3). But you must turn to Him fully, surrendering your heartache, your anger, and your desire for justice into His hands.

If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted mentor who can walk with you through this season. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." You do not have to navigate this alone. Additionally, surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, speak truth over you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who has been deeply wounded by the betrayal of her husband. Lord, You see every tear she has cried, and You collect each one in Your bottle. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We ask, Father, that You would pour out Your comfort upon her. Wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is never alone, for You are her refuge and strength.

Lord, we rebuke the sin of adultery that has torn apart this marriage. We ask that You would convict her husband’s heart, that he would see the gravity of his sin and turn from it in true repentance. If he is unwilling to change, we pray that You would protect her from further manipulation and cruelty. Give her the strength to set boundaries that honor You and guard her heart.

Father, we ask that You would heal the wounds in her soul. Where there is bitterness, replace it with Your peace. Where there is anger, replace it with Your righteousness. Where there is despair, replace it with hope in Your promises. Help her to release the burden of this pain to You, trusting that You will vindicate her in Your perfect timing and way.

Lord, we also pray for restoration, if it is Your will. If her husband is willing to repent and seek reconciliation with humility and godly sorrow, we ask that You would restore their marriage in a way that brings glory to Your name. But if not, we pray that You would lead her into a new season of healing and wholeness, where she can experience Your love and purpose for her life.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. Let this pain drive her into deeper dependence on You, the One who will never leave her nor forsake her. Remind her that her identity is found in Christ alone, and that You have plans for her welfare, not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and who alone can bring beauty from ashes. Amen.

Sister, we want you to know that your pain is not the end of your story. The Lord is at work, even in the darkness, and He is able to redeem what has been broken. Cling to Him, trust in His timing, and allow His love to be the balm that heals your heart. You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
