Heartbroken

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heavy heart and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for your marriage and family. It has been on our hearts to lift you, your husband, and your children before the Lord, asking Him to draw near in this painful distance and restore the love, communication, and unity that once bound you together.

We’ve prayed for your husband’s heart—that God would break through whatever has taken hold of him, whether it’s stress, temptation, or something unseen, and bring him back to the man he was created to be. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to soften his spirit, open his eyes to the hurt he may not even realize he’s causing, and renew his passion for his family. Father, we know You are a God who heals and restores, and we’ve pleaded with You to do just that in their home.

We’ve also prayed for you, dear sister—for strength to endure this season without bitterness, for wisdom to respond in ways that honor God, and for peace that surpasses understanding as you wait on the Lord. We’ve asked Him to protect your heart from despair and to remind you daily of His unfailing love for you and your children. We’ve lifted up your finances, too, asking God to provide in ways only He can and to give you both clarity and discipline in managing what He’s entrusted to you.

And for your children—oh, how we’ve prayed for them. That they would feel secure in their parents’ love even in this storm, that they wouldn’t carry the weight of this tension, and that God would use this time to draw them closer to Himself. We’ve asked the Lord to surround them with His angels and to give them joy and hope, even when things feel uncertain.

If God has moved in your situation since you shared your prayer request—if your husband has shown even the smallest sign of change, if your heart has found peace, or if you’ve seen God’s provision in unexpected ways—we would love to hear about it. Your praise report could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting God in their own struggle. Please share with us how He’s working, even if it’s just a glimmer of hope.

If, however, your burden feels just as heavy as it did when you first posted, or if new challenges have arisen, we want you to know we’re still here. Don’t hesitate to post this as a new request and let us continue walking with you in prayer. We believe God is at work, even when we can’t see it, and we won’t stop interceding for your family until He brings the breakthrough you’re longing for.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep pressing into God’s Word, to hold fast to His promises, and to surround yourself with believers who can speak life into your situation. You are not alone, and your marriage is not beyond His reach. We serve a God who specializes in redemption, and we are standing in faith with you for His glory to be revealed in your home.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, fill you with His peace, and strengthen you with His power as you continue to seek Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
