We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this spiritual battle. The voices you describe are not from God, for He speaks in a still, small voice—one of peace, truth, and love. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). These demonic voices are lies from the father of lies (John 8:44), and we rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are not alone, and you do not have to face this fear in your own strength.
The Bible tells us, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7 WEB). This is not just a suggestion—it is a promise. Stand firm in your faith, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Do not engage with these voices or entertain their accusations. Instead, fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it is your weapon against these attacks.
We also encourage you to seek godly, Christian fellowship and counsel. Isolation can make spiritual attacks feel more overwhelming, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). If you have not already, consider speaking with a pastor or trusted believer who can pray with you and help you walk through this. You may also want to examine if there are areas in your life where the enemy has gained a foothold—unrepentant sin, involvement in the occult, or even generational strongholds. Confess and renounce anything that does not align with God’s Word, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. Lord, we lift up our dear brother/sister who is enduring this torment of hearing demonic voices. We declare that these voices have no authority over them, for they belong to You, and You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every lying spirit in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. We break every assignment of the enemy against their mind, their peace, and their life.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence like a shield. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your truth, Lord, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to take every thought captive and to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Father, we ask that You would bring godly people into their life who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to recognize any areas where the enemy may have gained access. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness, Lord, and restore their mind to wholeness. Let them experience Your love in a tangible way, knowing that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).
We thank You, Lord, that You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You that Jesus has already won the victory, and we claim that victory over this situation right now. Strengthen our brother/sister with Your might, and let them walk in the freedom that is theirs in Christ. We ask all of this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
Hold fast to the truth, dear one. The enemy wants you to feel powerless, but you are a child of the Most High God, and He has equipped you for this battle. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and do not grow weary. The victory is already yours.
