Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with a hopeful heart that ### and I can forgive the past and work towards restoration. Draw yourself and us closer to one another. Strengthen our bond. Heal the pain we have caused one another. Soften our hearts and may our words be gentle. Open our eyes to see the light shine on one another and all that we do for eachother. Guide us back together. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, i thank you, i trust you, i love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen

We join you with a hopeful heart before our Father God and we thank you for coming boldly in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. We are encouraged that you have asked that your prayer be adjusted according to the will of God, for this is confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us. 1 John 5:14

We lift you and ### together before the Lord and we pray for deep forgiveness and true restoration. We know that healing a bond that has been hurt takes humility, grace, and a willingness to forgive as Christ has forgiven us. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Eph 4:32 Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Col 3:13 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Pet 4:8

We pray together for the healing of the pain you have caused one another. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Ps 147:3 We ask the Lord to soften your hearts and to give you a new heart of flesh where there has been hardness, as He promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36:26 We pray that your words to one another would be gentle and seasoned with grace, for a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Prov 15:1 and let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Eph 4:29

We also want to encourage you in the Lord regarding your bond. If this is a romantic relationship, we pray that you will seek to honor God by pursuing His design for love and commitment. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and every romantic relationship should be approached as courtship with the goal of a godly marriage that honors Christ. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Heb 13:4 For this reason we encourage you both to walk in purity, to flee from sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Cor 6:18 If you are not yet married, we pray that you will seek the Lord together about whether He is leading you toward holy marriage, and that you would build your foundation on Christ, for a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Eccl 4:12

We pray now together. Father God, we come before You in the Name of Jesus Christ and we lift this dear one and ### to You. Lord, draw each of them closer to Yourself first, and then closer to one another in a way that honors You. Strengthen their bond in Your love, heal the wounds and the pain they have caused one another, and soften their hearts to hear You and to hear each other. Open their eyes to see the light and the good You have placed in one another and help them to speak with gentleness, patience, and truth. Guide them back together if it is Your perfect will, and if not, guide them into Your perfect peace and purpose. Teach them to trust You with all their heart and not to lean on their own understanding, to acknowledge You in all their ways so You will direct their paths. Prov 3:5-6 We ask that You would make Your will clear and that You would give them grace to forgive fully and love deeply as You have loved us. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We were moved by the tenderness in your prayer for you and ###. Wanting to forgive what has hurt you both, to speak gently and be drawn closer together and to the Lord, is a humble place to come before Him. We also hear your willingness to have your prayer shaped by His will, and we honor that trust.

Healing after mutual hurt often happens in two layers. There is the quiet decision to release the debt and not pursue payback, and then there is the slower softening of the heart where resentment and fear are gradually replaced by compassion. Both matter, and the second usually takes time even after the first is chosen. Remembering that can help you stay patient with each other as you walk it out.

One small step that often helps couples seeking restoration is to set aside a brief, protected time each week to talk without trying to solve everything at once. You might each share one thing you appreciate about the other and one place where you still feel tender, using the gentle words you prayed for, and listening without defending. If you are both willing, inviting a trusted pastor or Christian counselor to sit with you can help keep those conversations safe and steady.

We are praying with you for wisdom, softened hearts, and clear eyes to see the good you each bring.

Father, we lift this dear one and ### to You. Soften their hearts toward You and toward each other, heal the places where they have wounded one another, and guide their words to be gentle and true. Draw them closer to Yourself first, and lead them step by step according to Your perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

I have some motivation for you about the topic of forgiving your/others past:

I was bullied so badly that I developed Thought Broadcasting Disorder, OCD/Schizophrenia, not sure I haven't been diagnosed. That was ### years ago, I forgave everyone who bullied me. I also forgave myself for becoming a bully at my school. The OCD/Schizophrenia has been heavily diminished and now I am doing way better than I was.

I pray that you guys can forgive each other people/yourself and you two can work towards restoration. I pray that Jesus works in you, amen.

Your prayer for forgiveness, healing and restoration has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace with a tender concern for your souls.

There is a blessed truth that underlies all our hopes of forgiveness. There is forgiveness with God. It is not a doubtful matter to be searched out, but a certain mercy provided through Jesus Christ alone. The record of our debt is nailed to the cross, and when the sinner comes with a penitent heart and looks to Christ by faith, the sentence is absolute and without condition, thy sins are forgiven thee. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance, and what He forgives He forgives completely and eternally. Before we can rightly forgive one another or be healed in our relationships with others, we must first know this forgiveness for ourselves, believing in the forgiveness of sins for ourselves through the blood of the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

With that forgiveness comes healing. The Scripture joins them in happy conjunction, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. You have prayed that the pain you have caused one another might be healed and your hearts softened and your words made gentle. This is the work of grace. He who has forgiven us so freely calls us to a joint work of mutual forgiveness, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. For those who have received so much forgiveness, to forgive should become as natural as to open the hand. We pray that the Lord will give you both such a sight of His mercy that it will melt hardness, subdue bitter memories and teach you to speak the truth in love.

You have asked that He would draw you closer to Himself and to one another and guide you back together according to His will. That submission to the will of God is the right place to end every prayer. We do not ask God to bless every desire simply because it is earnest, but we ask Him to conform our desires to His holiness and to lead us in the way that honors Him. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and love between a man and a woman is ordained by God to be expressed and enjoyed within the lifelong covenant of marriage, one man and one woman, with purity before it and faithfulness within it. If you are married, we pray that God will strengthen that covenant bond and help you to walk in repentance, faithfulness and gentle forbearance. If you are not married, we pray that He will help you to seek His will with clear eyes and pure hearts, to flee from what would dishonor Him, and to seek godly counsel from faithful pastors who can walk with you, teach you His Word and help you discern whether restoration should be as brother and sister in Christ, as friends, or in due time as husband and wife according to His ordering.

We pray now for you both. Father, we thank Thee that there is forgiveness with Thee that Thou mayest be feared. Grant to these two souls a fresh sight of that forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ. Wash them in His blood, give them repentance where repentance is needed and faith to receive Thy mercy. Heal what sin and sorrow have wounded, soften hard hearts, and give grace for gentle words and patient listening. Draw each one nearer to Thyself first, and then guide their steps together or apart as Thy wisdom appoints. Let Thy will be done in their lives, and let all that is done be done in holiness, in truth and for Thy glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it, amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in His Word and in prayer, and seek the help of a faithful local church where you can be known, counseled and prayed for according to the Scriptures.
