Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with a heavy heart. I know my mistake i played a apart of in this situation. I pray that you will heal ### heart from the hurt and betrayal from ###. Please give him the eyes to see how sincere I am about this. Please give him the heart to forgive me and let him heal. Draw yourself and us closer to one another. Strengthen our bond. Restore our relationship. Let him see that I do want to work things out and I always have. Lord, help me to do better mentally emotionally physically spiritually. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, i thank you, i trust you, i love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen

We join you in bringing this heavy heart before the Father and we thank you for your honesty in acknowledging the part you played in this hurt. That humility is precious to God, for godly sorrow works repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. We hear your desire not only for forgiveness from the one you have hurt but also to grow and do better mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, and we praise God that you have brought this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father.

The Word tells us If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Before we seek healing in any human relationship we must first be fully cleansed before God, and He promises to do that when we confess with a repentant heart. We encourage you to continue to pray as David prayed Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10. God sees your sincerity even when people cannot, and true repentance will bear fruit in changed actions over time, not only words.

We also pray for the heart of the one who was hurt. We ask God to heal that wound, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We pray that the Lord would give him eyes to see and a heart willing to forgive as we are commanded Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. Yet we must gently remind you that while we are called to forgive freely, trust is rebuilt slowly and restoration of a relationship, especially a romantic one, must be according to the will of God and not only our desire. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18. That means doing what is right and leaving the outcome in God's hands.

We want to speak lovingly and clearly about the relationship itself. If this is a romantic relationship and you are not married, we encourage you to see this season as courtship with the goal of godly marriage between a man and a woman, not simply as a partnership to be restored. God's design for intimacy is within marriage alone, and any sexual activity outside of marriage is fornication or adultery which grieves God and wounds relationships. If there has been any such sin, including the betrayal you mention, we urge you to repent of it fully and to commit from this day forward to purity, accountability and to pursuing marriage in a way that honors Christ if it is His will for you both to continue together. If you are already married, then we reaffirm that marriage is a lifelong covenant and we pray for its strengthening and restoration, with both of you drawing closer to Christ first and then to one another.

Your desire to do better in every area is right and it comes through abiding in Christ. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We encourage you to walk daily in the Word, in prayer, in fellowship with mature believers and if needed with pastoral counseling, so that your mind is renewed and your spirit is strengthened. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we lift this dear one to You and we thank You that You hear the cry of a contrite heart. Lord forgive every sin that has been confessed and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within. Heal the wounded heart of the one who was hurt and betrayed, bind up that wound and soften his heart where there is pain and hardness. Grant him grace to forgive as You have forgiven us. If it is Your will, restore this relationship and draw you both closer to one another and above all closer to Yourself. Strengthen whatever bond remains and make it holy, pure and centered on Christ. If restoration is not Your will, give peace and direction to accept Your perfect plan. Help this one to grow in mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health, to walk in self control, love and faithfulness, and to pursue purity and godliness in all relationships. Let every step be ordered by You and let Your will be done above all desires. We ask this in the saving and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.

We hear how much you care about this relationship and how sincerely you want to make things right. It takes humility to name your part and to ask God to work in both your heart and his.

We also hear your longing for forgiveness and for your bond to be restored. One thing that has helped others in this painful space is remembering that forgiveness and reconciliation, while related, move at different paces. A person can decide to forgive and still need time for the hurt underneath to soften. And coming back together takes a willing, active commitment from both people, which cannot be rushed.

As you wait, what you can tend to is the steady, faithful part you mentioned, wanting to do better mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Continuing to own your actions clearly without pressing him for a quick answer, showing sincerity through consistent actions over time, and inviting a trusted pastor or counselor to walk with you can bring clarity and support while God works.

Father, we bring them before You and ask for Your mercy and healing. Heal the hurt that betrayal has caused, soften hearts, grant wisdom and honesty for next steps, and strengthen them to grow in health in every area. Guide this relationship according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heavy heart and honest confession before the Lord have been heard, and we join you in bringing this burden to the throne of grace. You have done well to acknowledge your own part and to ask that your prayer be adjusted according to the will of God, for that is where all true peace is found.

We want to lift your eyes first to the forgiveness that is with God. Scripture says, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. There is forgiveness with Him, not because we deserve it, but because Christ Jesus died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. Do you tremble and desire forgiveness with a penitent heart, there is forgiveness for you, whatever your sins may have been. It is a divine forgiveness, a surprising forgiveness, and a complete forgiveness. When God forgives for Christ's sake, He blots out the debt entirely, as a creditor who cancels what could never be paid, and He continues to forgive and will never take back His gifts. This forgiveness is only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ His Son, for salvation is through Him alone. If you have not already done so, turn to Him in repentance and faith and believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself.

From that place of being forgiven, you can then seek to walk rightly toward others. You ask God to heal another heart from hurt and betrayal and to grant him eyes to see your sincerity and a heart to forgive. It is right to desire to make amends and to do better mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Yet we must remember that while forgiveness with God is sure to the repentant sinner who trusts in Christ, the forgiveness of another person cannot be demanded or presumed upon. We are called to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to ask humbly for forgiveness where we have sinned, but the other person must give it freely before God. Pray for his healing and for a gracious heart in him, while entrusting the outcome to the Lord.

You also ask God to draw you closer and to restore and strengthen the bond between you. We pray with you for healing and for reconciliation where it is pleasing to God, but we must pray as you have wisely invited, according to His will and according to His design. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. We cannot ask God to bless a relationship as it is if it lies outside that holy pattern. Instead we pray that the Lord will make both of you whole in Christ first, that He will lead you into purity, wisdom and holiness, and that any future bond between you would be conformed to His Word. If you are married, we pray God would heal what is broken and help you both to keep covenant vows with faithfulness. If you are not married, we pray God would call you to either pursue marriage in a manner that honors Him, with counsel and accountability, or to find peace in separate paths that honor Him, whichever is His best for you.

The psalmist prayed, Make the bones which Thou hast broken to rejoice. Sin breaks bones. It breaks faith and hope and love, and leaves a man as a palpitating mass of pain. God in mercy can heal broken bones, and when He does the healing is miraculous and worthy of great praise. Yet even after healing, we learn to walk more carefully, lest our soul be damaged for life. Let this season be one where the Great Physician does a deep work in you, not only to quiet pain but to bring true joy and strength again, and to make you more watchful and more dependent upon Christ.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we thank You that there is forgiveness with You. We ask You to assure this dear soul of complete pardon through the blood of Christ alone upon repentance and faith. Wash away sin, cleanse the conscience, and grant the joy of being fully forgiven. Heal the hurt that sin has caused in both hearts. Grant humility, honesty, and a sincere turning from what is wrong toward what is holy. Grant wisdom to do better in mind and body and soul, by Your Spirit and through Your Word, with the help of faithful believers around. Draw each one closer to Yourself first, and then, if it be Your will and in a way that honors Your design for marriage, restore what has been broken. If not, grant grace to accept Your will and to walk in purity and peace. Let Your will be done, and let Christ be magnified in all things. Amen.
