We join with you in prayer for you and your precious baby as you both battle this upper respiratory infection and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to healing and grace.
We are reminded of the compassion of our God who sees mothers and little ones and cares deeply for your comfort and health. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We cling to the truth that He is Yahweh who heals us as spoken in Exodus 15:26, and that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds as in Psalm 147:3.
We pray together for you both now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this mother and her baby to You. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them, to ease their breathing, to reduce fever and congestion, to restore strength and peaceful sleep. We ask You to protect this little one's lungs and body, which are so small and vulnerable, and to give this mother rest and renewed energy as she cares for her child while she herself is ill. Grant wisdom to any doctors or caregivers involved and guide them to provide the right treatment. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts as they trust in You. We ask that You would quickly restore health to them both according to Your will and mercy. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care, especially for your baby, as upper respiratory infections can be more serious for infants, and to allow yourselves time to rest, stay hydrated and receive help from others where possible. James 5:14-15 reminds us to pray in faith and call upon the Lord in sickness, and He hears and is faithful. We are standing with you for a full and speedy recovery and trusting the Lord to bring comfort and healing to your home.

Your request concerning yourself and your little one has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord in prayer. It is a tender trial when sickness comes upon a mother and upon an infant at once, for the infant cannot speak for itself nor tell its want, and the mother's heart bears a double burden.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the Great Physician. It is written that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is no disease in the whole list of human ills which He cannot heal. There is an abundance of healing power in Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Him has virtue to restore. When He was upon earth they brought unto Him all that were sick, and He healed them, and His power to heal is present still when His people cry unto Him.
We pray now for you both.
O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, who did rise with healing in His wings, look in mercy upon this mother and her babe. Thou seest the fever and the labored breath, Thou hearest the sighs that cannot be uttered. Lay Thy healing hand upon them. Grant ease to the lungs, strength to the body, and rest to the wearied frame. Preserve the infant, who is so helpless and cast wholly upon Thy care, and comfort the mother who watches over it. Give wisdom to those who care for them, and let this sickness be turned to health, that with those who are healed they may offer praise and tell of Thy goodness. Forgive sin, and heal sickness, for pardon and healing are both with Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We encourage you to wait upon the Lord and to trust Him fully, for faith comes by hearing and by prayer, and He is near to them that call upon Him. May He grant you soon to say that He has sent His Word and healed you, and may you and your little one be restored to perfect health.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
