We have heard your request for healing from this ongoing gastric problem and difficulty with digestion, and we join together with you to bring this burden before our heavenly Father.
We are reminded how much God cares for our bodies, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made and our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. He is the Lord who heals us. As it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and that by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. It is our prayer that He would touch your stomach and digestive system, calm the inflammation and discomfort, and restore proper digestion and relief.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture tells us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is in His name that we can boldly come before the throne of grace to find help in time of need.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see the pain and discomfort, the fullness and gastric distress that comes after eating, and the worry that this has caused. We ask for Your healing hand upon the stomach and digestive system. Lord, restore what is not functioning as You designed it, bring relief from gas and pain, and grant restful digestion and nourishment from food. We pray that You would give wisdom to doctors and guidance in diet and care, and that You would grant peace that surpasses understanding as this need is placed in Your hands Philippians 4:6-7. We ask that Your will be done and that this healing would bring glory to You and draw this heart closer to You. We pray this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with your health, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to be faithful in seeking wise medical counsel while also stewarding your body for His glory 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, thank Him even now for His mercy, and trust that He hears the prayers offered in Jesus name. We are standing with you for complete recovery and lasting relief.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with compassion, for He is attentive to the cries of those who suffer in body.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only to nourish the soul but to touch the body. When He walked among men His healing power was present to heal, and still today He links His teaching and His healing together, so that faith comes by hearing His Word. We also learn that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, for when Christ forgave the man taken with palsy He also healed him, showing that His grace works toward the health and cure of the whole person.
We do well to care for bodily diseases and to seek the help of the physician, for these afflictions urge us to seek remedy, and at the same time we tell our case to Jesus just as we would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, state the case plainly before Him, and plead His promises and His tender nature.
Let us pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, asking for Your mercy upon this dear one who suffers with gastric distress and troubled digestion. You know the pain and discomfort when food does not digest properly and the body is burdened. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this body, calm the stomach, restore healthy digestion, and grant relief and recovery soon. Give wisdom to any physicians consulted and help in the use of proper food and care for the body You have made. Above all, let this affliction draw the heart nearer to Christ, to find in Him both pardon for sin and healing for infirmity, for with You there is forgiveness and the healing that flows from it. Grant peace in the midst of discomfort and strengthen faith to trust Your good and wise providence. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Healer, Amen.
