We join together with you in lifting up your precious mother and father before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord's healing hand and mercy over their bodies.
We are moved by your love and concern for your parents and we bring their needs before our Father who is compassionate and mighty to heal. We know that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and that the Lord cares deeply about our suffering. Scripture reminds us that He is the Lord who heals us, as it is written Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you, and again Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling also to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and Isaiah 53:5, by his wounds we are healed.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture tells us Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and brought into relationship with God, as Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus alone for your salvation and for your parents' healing, and to come to the Father in His precious name.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up this dear mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, You know the complexity of this infection and how it burdens her body and breathing. We ask for Your healing touch upon her lungs, to clear this infection completely, to strengthen her immune system, and to bring her blood sugar into healthy balance. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for the treatments to be effective with no harmful side effects. We ask that You restore her strength and give her peace and comfort.
We also lift up this dear father to You. We bring before You his eyesight, his headaches, his urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and his blood pressure. Lord, You see each of these afflictions. We ask that You touch his eyes and restore his sight, relieve his head of pain, heal his urinary tract and kidneys, cause the swelling to subside, and bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. We pray for complete and good health for him, that his body would function as You designed it to. We pray for both mother and father that You would sustain them, renew their strength, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises.
We pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give comfort, strength, and faith while caring for these beloved parents. Help this family to trust You daily, to be diligent to seek good medical care while trusting You as the ultimate Healer, and to honor You in stewarding the health You have given. Your tender care for your mother and father is heard, and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace where our great Physician still reigns.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is abundance of healing power. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves do not wither, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises, He comes with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for His people. He who said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, is the same who heals the palsy and every other infirmity. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and healing is joined to His teaching and to faith which comes by hearing the Word of God.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and so we should seek lawful means while we look above all means to the Lord who alone can give real healing. He heals the broken heart as well as the wounded body, and His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies as well as our souls.
Let us pray together for your dear parents.
O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we bring before You this mother who suffers with diabetes and with a fungal infection in her lungs. You know her frame and her pain. Lay Your healing hand upon her, give wisdom to those who care for her, and if it be Your will, restore her lungs to soundness and keep her in Your peace. We bring also this father before You, with failing eyesight and headache, with urinary trouble and swelling of the feet, and with the burden of blood pressure. You see each of these infirmities. We ask You to ease his pain, to steady his health, to preserve his sight and to grant him relief and strength. Grant to both of them good health as You see best, and above all grant them to know pardon and healing together in Christ, that whether You restore them now or keep them through trial, they may find their comfort in Your presence.
We ask You to sustain their child who watches and prays, to give patience, faith and quiet confidence that You do all things well. Let the healing virtue of Your grace work in this family till all is made whole according to Your perfect will.
