We join you in lifting up your beloved mother and father before our Heavenly Father, for we know how heavy it is to watch those we love suffer in their bodies and we want to seek God's mercy and healing together in Jesus' name.
We pray first for your mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. We ask the Lord who formed her and knows every part of her to bring healing, strength, and restoration to her lungs and to help regulate her body. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for effective treatment, and for peace and comfort for her as she endures this illness. We also lift up your father and bring before the Lord his eyesight, his headaches, his urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and his blood pressure. We ask God to touch each of these areas, to restore his sight, to ease his pain, to bring healing to his body, and to grant him renewed strength and good health in the days ahead.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We cling also to the promise in Exodus 15:26 where the Lord declares for I am Yahweh who heals you. And we remember James 5:14-15 which says Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

Give skill and discernment to their medical providers, give comfort to their family as they wait and trust, and let Your will be done in their lives for Your glory. We pray that You would strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You through this trial, and that they would know Your presence as their healer and sustainer. We pray for your mother in her affliction with diabetes and this fungal infection in the lungs. The Lord who formed the body knows its frailty and is able to heal. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. May the great Physician lay His hand upon her, ease her breathing, cleanse the infection, give wisdom to those who care for her, and strengthen her body day by day. We ask also for grace to sustain her spirit and for peace that comes from knowing pardon and healing are both found together in Christ.
We pray likewise for your father, for his eyesight, for relief from headache, for healing of urinary tract trouble, for the swelling in his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for renewed health and strength. He that heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds is the same who very speedily cares for bodily diseases. We ask that the Lord would touch each of these infirmities, restore what is weakened, and grant him comfort and rest. May the Lord guide his physicians, direct every treatment, and grant him daily grace.
