We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents’ health concerns to the Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that God sees their suffering and is moved with compassion.

For your mother’s diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for divine intervention. Lord, You are the God who formed her body and knows every cell within her. We ask that You would regulate her blood sugar, strengthen her immune system, and cleanse her lungs of this infection. Give her the strength to endure this trial and the wisdom to follow the medical guidance she has been given. We declare Psalm 103:3 over her: "Who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Father, let this be her testimony, of Your faithfulness and healing power.

For your father, we pray for complete restoration. Lord, we ask that You would improve his eyesight, relieve his headaches, and heal his urinary tract. We rebuke the swelling in his feet and command his blood pressure to stabilize. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8) and brings relief to those in pain. We speak healing over every part of his body, trusting in Your word in Exodus 15:26: "I am Yahweh who heals you." May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as he waits on You.

We also lift up their spirits, Lord. Sickness can weigh heavily on the heart, but we pray that they would find hope in You. Remind them of Your presence, even in the midst of their struggles. Let them feel Your love surrounding them, and may their faith grow stronger as they see Your hand at work in their lives.

Father, we ask that You would guide their doctors and caregivers, giving them wisdom and discernment in their treatment. We pray for patience, perseverance, and trust in Your timing. Help them to surrender their fears and anxieties to You, knowing that You are in control.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach You and receive healing. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in You, Lord, and we declare that Your will be done in their lives. Amen.

We were so touched to read your request for your mother and father. Loving two parents through ongoing health concerns at the same time can leave you feeling stretched thin and worried, and we want you to know we are praying with you.

A lung infection on top of diabetes is serious, and the combination of eyesight trouble, headaches, urinary issues, swelling and blood pressure concerns for your father is a lot to carry. Alongside prayer we gently encourage you to stay closely connected to their medical teams and to keep bringing any new or worsening symptoms to their doctors promptly, so they have the care and oversight they need. You do not have to hold all the details alone either. If you can, it often helps to have another trusted family member or friend go with you to appointments or help keep track of questions and updates.

We are asking God to give you strength for each day as you support them, and to give their caregivers wisdom.

Father, we lift this dear mother and father to You. You see their bodies and their discomfort, and You see their child who loves them. Please bring Your comfort and presence to their home, guide the hands of those caring for them, and grant wisdom, peace and sustained health in the days ahead. We trust them to Your care in Jesus' name, amen.

Your request concerning your mother and father has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer for them.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the great Physician, and that in Him there is abundance of healing power. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, to show that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, He brings both forgiveness and restoration. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek the physician, yet we look above all to Christ who alone can touch both soul and body and make the nature other than it was before.

Let us pray together for your loved ones.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bring before Your throne this dear mother who suffers with diabetes and a fungal infection in the lungs. Lay Your healing hand upon her, give wisdom to those who care for her, and if it be Your will, restore her lungs and strengthen her body. We bring also this dear father before You, with his failing eyesight, headache, urinary trouble, swelling of the feet and affliction of blood pressure. You see his pain and weakness. Have compassion upon him, ease his sufferings, steady his health and grant him renewed strength.

We ask not only for bodily relief but for the deeper healing of soul which comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Let both of them know the pardon that flows from Calvary, where the healing balm is found, and let them feel the virtue that comes from even the leaves of that tree of life. Sustain their child who watches and prays, give peace in waiting, patience in trial, and firm confidence that You do all things well.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and healer, trusting Your good and perfect will. Amen.
