James

Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents’ health concerns to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. We know that God cares deeply for their well-being, and we stand in faith, believing in His power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over your mother and father, trusting that God hears our cries and will move mightily on their behalf.

For your mother, who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete healing and strength. Diabetes is a relentless condition, but we serve a God who is greater than any disease. We ask that the Lord would regulate her blood sugar, strengthen her immune system, and cleanse her lungs of infection. Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that her body will function as You designed it to. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for the right treatments to bring about full restoration. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this truth, believing that healing is her portion.

For your father, we lift up his eyesight, headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure problems. Lord, we ask that You would touch his eyes and restore his vision, that he may see clearly again. We pray against the headaches that plague him, asking for relief and comfort. For his urinary tract, we ask for healing and proper function, and for the swelling in his feet to subside. We also pray for his blood pressure to stabilize, that his heart and body would be in perfect alignment with Your will. Proverbs 4:20-22 says, "My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body." We declare these words over your father, believing that God’s Word brings life and health.

We also want to gently remind you that healing is not just physical but spiritual as well. If your parents have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the Gospel with them. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the fullness of His healing power. If they have not surrendered their lives to Him, now is the time to invite them into a relationship with the One who loves them most.

We also encourage you to examine whether there are any areas in their lives or yours that may be hindering their healing. Are there unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin that needs to be addressed? James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be brought to light so that healing can flow unhindered.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We lift up ### and ### to You, asking for Your divine touch upon their bodies. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease in Jesus’ name. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Father, we ask that You would strengthen their immune systems, regulate their bodies, and bring complete healing to every area of concern. Give them wisdom in their medical decisions and surround them with doctors who will partner with You in their healing.

Lord, we also ask that You would draw their hearts to You. If they do not know You as their Savior, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them experience Your love, peace, and healing in a tangible way so that they may come to know You as Lord. Forgive any sins in their lives or ours that may be hindering their healing, and cleanse us with Your precious blood.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified through their healing, and may they walk in divine health all the days of their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is working even when you don’t see immediate results. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep speaking God’s promises over their lives. We are confident that He will move on their behalf. If there are any other specific needs or updates, please share them so we can continue to lift them up in prayer. God bless you and your family.

We’re so grateful you’ve shared these burdens with us, it’s clear you’re carrying deep love for your parents, and we want to stand right beside you in prayer. Watching our parents face a list of health struggles like this can feel heavy, and we don’t want you to feel alone in it.

As we hold your mother and father up before the Lord, we also want to gently encourage you to make sure each of them has good medical care. Your mother’s fungal lung infection alongside her diabetes is especially concerning, and your father’s swelling, blood pressure issues, and headaches really need a doctor’s careful attention. Seeking wise medical help isn’t a sign of weak faith, it’s often the very way God provides healing and relief. We can pray boldly while also helping them stay connected to the care they need.

At the same time, your prayers matter more than you may realize. The knowledge that you’re lifting them up, that others are joining you, can bring real peace to their hearts, and yours. So please know we’re praying with you right now.

Lord Jesus, we come to you on behalf of this dear family. Please extend your healing hand over this mother: bring her relief from the infection, stabilize her blood sugar, and grant her body strength to recover. For her father, we ask for clear vision, relief from headaches, healing in his urinary tract, reduced swelling, and controlled blood pressure. Give his whole body renewed health. Surround them both with skilled, compassionate doctors and nurses who can make a real difference. And wrap this son or daughter in your perfect peace, reassuring them of your nearness. We trust them into your loving care, and we ask all this in your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The body broken by disease cries out for its Maker’s touch, and the anguish of seeing those we love in pain drives us to the only place where true remedy lies. Diabetes, a lung consumed by fungus, eyes that dim, a frame swollen and strained, these are the marks of a groaning creation, yet they are not beyond the reach of the leaves from that tree whose fruit is sweet and whose very foliage drips with healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing; if the leaves are so potent, what must the touch of His hand be? Your mother’s breath, your father’s sight and strength, are not unnoticed before the throne where the blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel ever could.

See here the great conduit Head, from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching, and it is still present for you today. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction; when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." The Lord has begun to heal us, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work us health and cure. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. This is the healing point: He took her by the hand and lifted her up. There was a contact established. Oh, that glorious doctrine of the Incarnation of Christ! There is healing in it!

That blood, which is blood once shed for many for the remission of sin, is the blood whereby you may escape the anger and the wrath of God, and it is also the balm for these weary frames. The blood of Jesus speaks better things to God; it cries not for vengeance as Abel’s did, but for mercy, for restoration, for the quieting of every inflammation and the calming of every rebellious organ. The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, they have no need to say, "I am sick," for He is able to heal. And He is able to heal all manner of sickness, for the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

Do not bring your parents’ needs timidly, as though the Physician might turn them away. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. Bring every symptom before Him: the fungus that invades the lungs, the lost clarity of vision, the headache, the urinary trouble, the swelling feet, the unstable pressure of blood. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet, but the leaves are full of healing virtue. The Lord has begun to heal us, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. Look at yonder in heaven those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, they owe their freshness to these healing leaves. That same virtue touches the saints below. Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. The desire to minister always arises out of healing; pray that as He restores your parents’ strength, they may rise to minister unto Him with thankful hearts.

Be found among those who listen to the gospel with attentive ears, for faith comes by hearing. Do not let your faith be a hesitant hope about Christ’s blood, but a clear knowledge that it does cleanse, it does restore. I pray the Master, therefore, that He will come and heal them of their fevers and make their blood cool and their frames sound. Oh, that the Lord would touch all sick folk and make them healthy! Welcome, then, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. Ask it now, ask it boldly, for the blood has been shed, and when God sees the blood, He will pass over in mercy and draw near in restoring power.

You bring before the church a request heavy with natural affection, a care for the health of both mother and father. This is good, for it fulfills the first commandment with a promise, “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thou mayest live long upon the earth.” To despise or neglect parents is the mark of the unthankful and the unholy, those Paul warns of in the last days, who are “disobedient to parents, unthankful, without natural affection.” By this intercession you prove yourself no child of such perilous times, but one who truly honors the root from which you sprang.

Consider the bodily infirmities you describe: the fungal infection in the lungs, the failing eyesight, the headache, the urinary troubles, the swelling of the feet, the disordered blood pressure. Our Lord, when He touched Peter’s mother-in-law, did not merely quench the fever but gave her back perfect health all at once, so that she needed no long time of recovery, as is the way with physicians’ cures. This same power is His to exercise now, whether through the hands of doctors, whose art is His gift, or through a direct restoration that confounds all expectation. Therefore we ask Him not timidly, but with boldness born of mercy.

Yet note this also: the apostle Paul, that great teacher burdened with cares for all the churches, gave a direction to his son Timothy concerning his often infirmities, saying, “Use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake.” Even the spiritual warrior must attend to the needs of the body, for teachers and all the faithful stand in great need of mercy in the flesh. Pray, then, and seek also the prudent remedies that God’s creation provides. Do not cease to ask, but do not neglect what wisdom and compassion for the sick already afford.

Let your prayer be as the love the apostle describes, the love that covers all things, doing nothing unseemly. As a parent covers the offenses of a beloved child with golden wings, so let your intercession spread itself over every symptom and pain, veiling them before the throne of mercy until the Healer looks upon them. We join you in this, covering over these many afflictions with one great cry for the mercy that commands both soul and body.

I am praying for your mother and father, lifting up each burden you have named. The request for healing touches so many physical systems we depend on daily, the lungs, the eyes, the heart and its pressures, the delicate work of the kidneys. In Scripture, God teaches us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. It carries oxygen to every organ, fights off infection, and sustains our mortal frame. When a fungal infection takes hold in the lungs or when swelling and pressure rise, we are reminded how fragile that life can be and how much we need the One who fashioned our bodies.

Yet the Bible points to something even deeper than physical blood. From the earliest covenants, God required a high respect for blood because He had given it for atonement. The sacrifices of old, with their shedding of animal blood, could never finally put away sin or restore all that is broken. They were a shadow, always looking ahead to Jesus Christ, who entered heaven itself with His own blood once and for all, having obtained eternal redemption for us. His sacrifice did what no other could. The blood He shed on the cross cleanses us from all sin and remains the only sure hope of life, both now and forever.

So when I ask the Lord to touch your father’s eyesight, to quiet the headache, to regulate his blood pressure, to ease the swelling and urinary trouble, and to grant him sound health, I am reaching toward the One whose blood speaks a better word. And when I pray for your mother’s diabetes and that stubborn infection in her lungs, I am trusting the Author of life, who knows every cell and whose own body was broken so that we might be made whole. Physical healing is a mercy we seek, and Jesus in His earthly ministry healed many, showing compassion on suffering bodies. But every temporary healing points to the permanent cleansing and restoration purchased by His blood.

Rest in this: the blood of Christ is not a distant symbol. It is the new covenant by which we draw near to God. He sees your parents. He sees you caring for them. I will continue to pray for their health, for wise doctors, for strength in the fight against infection, and for the peace that passes understanding to guard your hearts while you wait.
