James

Humble Servant of All
1. for my mother, she is diabetic and having fungal infection in the lungs.
2. for my father's eyesight to improve, headache, urinary tract problems, feet swelling, blood pressure problems to go away and for good health.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents in prayer, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health and strength.

Father in Heaven, we lift up this dear mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch her body with Your healing power. We pray that You would regulate her blood sugar levels, strengthen her immune system, and completely eradicate this infection from her lungs. Give her the strength and energy she needs each day, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

For this precious father, we pray for complete restoration. Lord, we ask that You would improve his eyesight, relieve his headaches, and heal his urinary tract. We pray that the swelling in his feet would subside and that his blood pressure would stabilize. Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would pour out Your healing upon him, renewing his strength and vitality. Let him feel Your presence and comfort in every moment of weakness.

We also want to encourage both parents to seek godly wisdom in their healthcare decisions, trusting in the Lord with all their hearts and not leaning on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find hope and encouragement in Your Word, which reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."

Lord, we ask that You would draw near to this family, filling their home with Your peace and joy. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your goodness in tangible ways. We pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision.

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ, declaring that these ailments have no place in their bodies. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We trust in You, knowing that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

It’s a heavy thing to carry concern for both parents at once, especially when the health problems are so varied and serious. We can feel pulled in several directions, and the sheer number of needs can leave us helpless. But you’re not bearing it alone, you’ve brought them here, and we’re honored to stand with you.

When many symptoms cluster together, as with your father, it often helps to have a doctor who sees the whole picture. The swelling, blood pressure, headaches, urinary tract issues, and vision changes all connect through systems a good primary physician can investigate. If he hasn’t had a comprehensive workup recently, gently encouraging that, and maybe going with him to take notes, can be a quiet act of love. And with your mother’s diabetes and lung infection, her blood sugar management will likely be central to her recovery, so staying in close touch with her specialist matters deeply.

Those practical steps are not a substitute for prayer; they’re part of how we love in deed. So we do both.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this mother and father to you. For the mother fighting infection on top of diabetes, we ask for effective treatment, steady blood sugar, and full healing in her lungs. Give her medical team wisdom, and give her endurance. For the father, with so many systems under strain, his eyes, his head, his blood pressure, his urinary tract, his feet, we ask you to bring relief and restoration. Guide his doctors to clear answers and the right course of care. And for the one who wrote us, we ask for your peace that stays steady even when the reports take time to change. Sustain their strength and their hope. We trust you as the healer, and we wait on you together, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The prayer for your mother and father rises amidst the very groans that are common to our frail humanity, yet there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one. For your mother, wrestling with diabetes and a fungal infection in the lungs, and for your father, whose frame is assailed by failing eyesight, headaches, urinary trouble, swelling, and blood pressure gone awry, the remedy is not scattered among many herbs, but found in the one plant of renown.

It is a blessed thing, this little faith, not its littleness, but its faith. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can do wonders. The least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and it is "like precious faith," though it is not like strong faith. And when He saw their faith, He said to the one sick of the palsy, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." This was going to the very root of his disease. Pardon and healing were one. The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing. His salvation will also perfectly heal our bodies. For your father, those many symptoms, the headache, the swelling, the pressure, are not beyond the reach of Him before whom the utmost length of human sickness must yield. For your mother, the fungal intrusion into the very lungs cannot withstand the Sun of Righteousness, who rises upon His people with healing in His wings.

Come with the maimed hand of your faith. Come just as you are, for He who is God can certainly heal you. Faith does the most effectual thing for the soul when it takes what God gives. All the rest may be or may not be, faith is the main thing. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul and opens the door for the healing flood of His love. We are on our way to eternal health. We have the life within us which is to be perfect forever and ever. Why should we, then, say, "I am sick"? If a man could be quite sure that he would be in perfect health tomorrow, he would say little about the sickness of an hour. Lay hold upon the great Physician, for there is one sacred Fountain, to wash therein is health, there is but one, it was opened on Calvary. The healing power is conspicuously present where Christ is, and He links the healing with the teaching of His Word, for faith comes by hearing. God grant that its healing influences drop upon your father and mother, till that golden age shall dawn in which their bodies shall be the abode of perfect health, to the praise of His glory.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come weighed down by the sight of your mother’s lungs consumed by infection and your father’s body troubled by many ailments. This is a heavy burden, and the heart that loves them naturally trembles. But do not let that trembling overtake your faith. The soul’s anxiety often becomes a worse sickness than any bodily ill, for it blinds us to the tender care of Him who said, “How often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens.” He stretches out His wings not to remove every earthly trial at once, but to shelter you within it. Your parents’ present weakness is not abandonment; it is the shadow of those wings, calling them to stay close.

Take these sorrows as a lesson in where true health resides. The body, overfed or under siege, decays. There is a table that brings no heaviness of head, no swelling of limbs, but only bread and water from a pure fountain and honest labor. Do not rush after an excess of earthly remedies or fixes, as if by them alone you could add a single hour to life. Instead, let the sickness teach sobriety. Many plead for health while their hands remain full of blood, persisting in old patterns, adding fresh offenses to the old. Examine, rather, whether any hidden sin clings to you and to them, and let the disease become a purging, however painful. A little sustenance, received with thanksgiving, yields more pleasure and health than surfeit ever did.

Call upon the name of the Lord for your father and mother, for it is written that whoever calls on that name shall be saved. Call not with desperate clamor but with the trust of one who knows that the Blood of the Cross has already made peace between earth and heaven. That Blood alone brings remission of sins, which matters more than the remitting of a fever. Your parents’ bodies are mortal, but their souls have been purchased by a sacrifice offered once for all. Do not demand that God spare them every pain; instead, ask that through these pains they be reconciled more deeply to Him who through His own suffering and Blood reconciled all things to Himself. If even Peter, so loved by the Master, fell when he trusted in his own strength, learn to commit all to God and not to your own anxious thoughts.

Therefore, pray for their bodily relief as you would for a passing storm, but far more earnestly pray that they may be gathered under Christ’s wings and that their souls, cleansed by tears, may meet Him without fear on that great day. The sun may be darkened and the moon turn to blood for this world, but the one who calls on the Lord will not be put to shame. Entrust them to that mercy. Let your fasting and your alms speak for them, and let your own heart find rest in the hope that for them to depart and be with Christ would be far, far better.
