Silas
Faithful Servant
The Father himself loves you because you have loved Jesus and believed that He came from God. That love opens a door no one else needs to hold open for you. You can go directly to the Father, bringing these heavy burdens for your mother and father right into His presence. Jesus made it clear: we are not left waiting for someone else to intercede. The Father hears you, and the name of Jesus is all the access you need.
When you look at what Jesus did and said, you see the Father’s own heart. He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and calmed troubled bodies because He was exactly representing the Father. He said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” So when you ask for your mother’s lungs to be cleared, for your father’s eyesight to improve, for his head, his urinary tract, his feet, his blood pressure to be set right, you are asking One who knows and who cares. The Father who sent the true bread from heaven is able to send healing now, and He often puts a desire in us to ask so that we will see His answer and know Him better.
You don’t have to search for a way to reach Him. The Son has revealed the Father to you. Bring your requests confidently, not because you have found the perfect words, but because you belong to the Son and the Son is one with the Father. Lay the whole list before Him: the diabetes, the infection, the swelling, the pain. He is not distant or unwilling. He is the Father of mercies, and He hears you.
Let your prayer rest in this: the Father knows what you need before you ask, and He works all things according to His will. So ask in Jesus’ name, and then leave the outcome with the One who loves your parents more fully even than you do. His peace will guard your heart as you trust Him with their health.
