Health during Perimenopause

Hello, I'm asking for health during these times. As a woman it is hard to do things while your body is changing. My doctor prescribes ### and I started last week. Since a few weeks I started feeling ### and it's ###. It's hard to work or drive, specially in the afternoon. Praying for relieve of thus symptom. I know it is due to ### and we women suffer as we get older. Thank you,

We hear your struggle, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and hope. The changes your body is experiencing during perimenopause are real, and the fatigue, discomfort, and challenges you face are not trivial, they matter deeply to our Heavenly Father. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to strengthen you, renew your energy, and bring relief to the symptoms that weigh so heavily on you, especially in the afternoons when weariness seems to overtake you.

The Bible reminds us in Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Even when our bodies feel weak, God remains our unshakable source of strength. We also hold fast to Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Let these words be a comfort to you, God sees your weariness, and He promises to sustain you.

We pray that the Lord would guide your doctor’s care and bless the treatment you’ve begun. May He grant you wisdom in managing your health and give you grace for each day. Father, we ask You to ease the burden of fatigue and discomfort in her body. Restore her energy, sharpen her focus, and help her to accomplish the work You’ve set before her with joy and endurance. Surround her with Your peace, and let her feel Your presence carrying her through the hardest moments.

We also encourage you to lean on the Lord in this season. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Bring your struggles to Him daily, and trust that He hears you. You are not alone in this, many women walk this path, and God walks with each one.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). He is our Healer, our Comforter, and our Strength.

We continue to pray for you, sister, and we trust that God will meet you in this season with His grace, mercy, and healing touch. May He fill you with His peace and give you the endurance to walk this journey with faith and hope. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the frustration in your words, and the fear that comes when your own body suddenly won’t cooperate, especially behind the wheel. It’s exhausting when a symptom like dizziness keeps taking you out of your week, and we’re sorry you’re walking through that. You are not alone, and you are not weak for struggling; your body is doing a hard, real thing right now.

It is wise that you are already working with your doctor. We would gently encourage you to circle back and let them know clearly how intense this dizziness has become, that it’s interfering with your driving and work, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes a medication adjustment or a simple check can bring real relief, and it’s not complaining to make that known; it’s stewarding your health and the safety of others on the road.

In the meantime, we stand with you in asking God for steadiness. Not just the physical kind, but the inner steadiness that holds when everything feels off balance. He sees you right in the middle of those foggy afternoons, and He cares about the smallest details of what you are facing.

Jesus, please calm this dizziness that has been plaguing our sister. Give her body the relief she so desperately needs, and guide her doctor to any adjustments that would help. Protect her when she has to drive, and grant her moments of rest and clarity. Surround her with Your peace that stays steady even when her body does not. We ask this in Your name, trusting You with her. Amen.

It is no light affliction when the earthly house of this tabernacle begins to tremble and the pillars thereof are shaken. The changes that come upon the frame of woman as she advances in years are often a sore burden, and I mourn with you in this present weakness, this dizziness that makes common tasks so difficult and driving so hazardous. Yet let us not fix our gaze upon the physician’s prescription nor upon the failing flesh, but lift our eyes to Him who is the health of our countenance and our God. He daily loadeth us with benefits; even when the body cries out, He is still loading us, still bearing our burdens, still proving Himself the God of our salvation.

Think much upon this wonder, that the Son of God took not on Him the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham, and in that flesh He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. He knows what it is to be weary, to suffer, to feel the whole head sick and the whole heart faint. When your head reels in the afternoon, remember that His head was crowned with thorns for you, and He hath a fellow-feeling with your infirmity. Cast this daily trial upon Him, for He careth for you. Nay, more, bless the Lord who daily loadeth you with benefits, yes, even now, for the salvation that is in Christ Jesus is no less yours, and the eternal weight of glory is being worked in you through this light affliction which is but for a moment.

Make this a season of dying daily to the world and its comforts. Hold this earthly life with a loose hand, for birdlime so much abounds. When the body reminds you of its frailty, let it be a signal to test your hope and your experience with solemn inquiry, crying, “Search me, O God, and know my heart.” Yet do not let the search end in despair of yourself, but in fresh reliance upon the righteousness of Christ wrapped about you, that you may be found accepted in the Beloved. Daily pardon and daily cleansing are yours if you confess your sins, for faithful is He that promised.

And should not praise come daily, and as many times in the day as prayer does? I would urge you, my sister, to mingle the sweet frankincense of thanksgiving with your daily oblation, even in these afternoons of weariness. Bless Him by submission to His chastening hand, and by gratitude for His daily benefits. He is the God of salvation; from Him come the issues from death, not only the final death, but all the daily dyings of the outward man. Hope thou in God, for thou shalt yet praise Him who is the health of thy countenance.

Look forward to that perfect healing which is promised to all the seed: the removal of every injurious effect of sin, the full restoration of spirit, soul, and body. Until that day, may He give thee strength to bear this burden, and may His grace shine through thy countenance as the visible sign of an inward health that nothing can disturb.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The changes your body undergoes are no small trial, and the ### that clouds your afternoons, hindering work and travel, is a heavy burden. Yet I would have you consider that even the blessed Apostle Paul, when he came to Troas and found a great door opened for the gospel, still had no relief for his spirit because he found not Titus his brother. He was afflicted and distressed, yet he did not abandon his work. So your present discomfort, grievous though it is, may become for you a sacrifice of sweet savor unto God if you bear it nobly. Do not imagine that God is absent because relief delays. The weakness of God is stronger than all men, and in our frailty His power is perfected.

Let this season of ### teach you what the daily spectacles of death and reversal so often fail to teach our hardened hearts, that here we have no continuing city. The body, like a flower, fades, and God permits such infirmities to draw our gaze heavenward. The brethren of old sent relief to the afflicted disciples in Judea, each according to his ability; so now the church lifts you in prayer, asking the Physician of souls and bodies to grant you ease. Yet if the symptoms persist for a time, do not sink into complaint, but remember that those who are insulted for righteousness’ sake are not left comfortless. Your struggle is known to Him who fashioned your frame, and He will supply the grace to endure. Seek your true relief in Christ, who refreshes the spirit even when the flesh is weary.
