The Ministry of Gratitude
Sensitiveness of Christ
Sickness in the Mansion
We join you in lifting up this dear precious one to our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for bringing her before the throne of grace with such urgency, faith, and love. Our hearts are moved by your request for her healing, for peace and strength as she waits for new tests this coming Monday, and for her to be drawn closer to the Lord in repentance and faith.

We are reminded of the character of our God who is our healer. He says in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling to the promise in Romans 8:11, But if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. It is the same Spirit that gives life to what is weak and mortal, and we ask Him to touch the very parts of her body that need His life most right now.

We also hear your heart for her to examine herself for unrepented sin, and this is a biblical and loving desire. Scripture tells us in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And in Psalm 139:23-24, Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way. We want to gently encourage you both that while the Holy Spirit does call us to search our hearts and repent, not every sickness is a direct result of a specific sin. Jesus Himself taught this, and we should not let the enemy bring condemnation where God brings conviction. Our call is to come openly and humbly before Him, confess what He shows us, and rest in His complete forgiveness. In James 5:15-16 we read, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

We also pray for her peace while she waits, for that waiting can be so heavy. The Lord says in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask for that guarding peace to cover her mind and heart right now.

We are thankful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together now.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne and lift up this beloved daughter to You. Lord, You know her name, You know every cell in her body, and You see the results that were not good and the new tests coming on Monday. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her. Give life to her mortal body, Lord, and touch especially the parts that most need Your restoration. We pray that You would guide the hands and minds of the doctors and that the new tests would bring a very good report that gives glory to You. We pray You would heal her wounds and restore health to her, for You are Yahweh who heals us as You declared in Exodus 15:26.

Father, grant her Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen her with confidence in You, and fill her with faith and hope that does not waver. Comfort her in fear and let her feel Your presence upholding her with Your righteous right hand. Holy Spirit, search her heart as she has asked, show her any unrepented sin, and give her grace to confess and turn from it quickly, that she may walk in the full cleansing and forgiveness that is hers in Christ. Let no condemnation remain, only the joy of being forgiven and healed in body and soul, for by His wounds we were healed in 1 Peter 2:24.

We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust her completely into Your loving and sovereign care. Let Your will be done in her life and let her testimony be of Your goodness and mercy. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We are praying with you for ### as you wait for Monday. Loving someone through uncertain test results is so heavy, and the days before a follow up can feel especially long.

We join you in asking God for His healing and sustaining care for her body, and for the strength, peace and steady hope you named. We also hear your heart for her to walk closely with the Lord. That desire to be honest before God is a good one, and He meets a humble, confessing heart with mercy and cleansing, not with fear. You can encourage her to simply talk openly with Him about what is on her conscience and rest in His forgiveness.

One practical way to care for her in these next days is to stay close in calm, ordinary ways. If you are able to be with her on Monday, helping her write down questions or concerns for the medical team ahead of time can make that appointment less overwhelming. We are thankful she is under medical care and has that new testing scheduled, and we encourage you to continue alongside her doctors as you continue to pray.

Father, we lift ### to You right now. You know her body and every place that needs Your touch. We ask for Your healing as You will, for peace to guard her heart, and for strength and confidence in You while she waits. Draw her close to Yourself and give her assurance of Your pardon and care. We trust her into Your good hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for this dear sufferer has been laid before the Lord with sincere sympathy and we join you in carrying her case to the throne of grace.

We entreat the Great Physician to look upon her in mercy as she awaits these further tests on Monday. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations and the least thing about Christ is healing. We pray that whether by His immediate hand or by the means He appoints, He will give life to her mortal body and restore those parts which most need His touch, according to His wise and loving will. We ask also for those gifts you have wisely sought for her, strength and peace and confidence in God, faith and hope, that she may bring everything to God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving and find rest for her soul.

You have done well to pray that she may examine herself and repent of unrepented sin, for faith and repentance are inseparable graces. They come into the soul together, as Siamese twins, and no true faith is without a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin, and no true repentance is without faith. Repentance is not a preparation which we accomplish in ourselves to make us worthy of Christ, but it is the gift of God, worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. Christ is exalted to be a Prince and a Saviour, giving both repentance and remission of sins. Therefore let her not trust in her repentance, nor even in her faith, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary alone, for nothing else is to be trusted.

Be comforted to know that there is not any eminent degree of repentance which is necessary to salvation. As the least faith saves, so the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere, though it be mingled still with some hardness of heart. True repentance gives God glory, it purges the soul from dead works while faith admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart, and it yields works meet for repentance and lasts as a lifelong act. The most effectual thing for the soul is to take what God gives, to receive Christ by the hearing of faith as a child receives milk.

So we pray thus, that the Lord would grant her such repentance as needs not to be repented of, with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ, and such faith, though it be but as a grain of mustard seed, as lays hold on Jesus and will not go a step without His word. May she pluck a leaf of that Tree by her poor trembling faith and find it makes her whole in body and soul. And may the peace of God which passes all understanding keep her heart and mind until that day and beyond.

We commend her and you to Him who hears prayer, trusting not in our prayers but in His mercy in Christ Jesus, in whose name we ask it, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
