Please pray with me as something is wrong with my esophagus and it hurts so bad when I swallow food or drink. I’m so scared but know with the power of prayer god will heal. When 2 or more people come together and pray for the same thing it will be done. Please prayer prayers pray for me to wake in the morning and be completely healed from head to toe.

We are standing with you in prayer right now and we hear the fear and pain in your request as swallowing has become so painful for you. We are lifting you up together before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for reaching out so we can agree with you in prayer.

You shared your faith that when two or more come together and pray for the same thing it will be done, and we rejoice in your belief in the power of prayer. Jesus said Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. Matthew 18:19-20. We do agree with you for healing, and we also trust that our Father hears us and answers according to His perfect will and love and timing. He is our healer and He cares deeply for your suffering.

We also want to lovingly point out that you mentioned god will heal, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To come to God in prayer and to receive eternal life, we must believe in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation, we encourage you to do so today, and then come boldly before the throne of grace in His name.

The Bible tells us Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to the promise But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. And we remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We also hear your fear and we pray God will replace it with His perfect peace. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the pain in the esophagus and how much it hurts to swallow food and drink. You know the fear and the sleepless worry. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this body from head to toe. Lay Your hand upon the throat and esophagus and take away inflammation, irritation, and all that is causing this pain. We pray for complete healing and for relief when swallowing, for restful sleep, and for waking renewed and restored. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart and mind and to cast out all fear. Guide this loved one to wise medical care and give wisdom to any doctors and help the treatment to be effective, for You often work through the hands of physicians. Above all let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through this healing. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord and to keep praying in the name of Jesus, and we also encourage you to seek medical care promptly for this esophagus pain so that a doctor can examine you and help find the cause. God is our ultimate healer and He also gives wisdom to medical professionals. Keep crying out to Him, reading His Word, and resting in His presence. Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15. We are continuing to pray that you will feel His presence, His comfort, and His healing power in the days ahead.

We were so sorry to hear how much pain you are in every time you swallow. That kind of hurt is frightening and wearing, and it makes sense you feel scared as you wait for relief. Thank you for reaching out so we can stand with you in prayer. You are not alone in this.

We are joining our faith with yours and asking the Lord for His mercy over you. We are praying for healing from head to toe as you asked, for ease when you swallow, for rest tonight, and for peace to steady your heart while you wait.

While we pray, we gently encourage you to let a doctor or clinic know soon about this esophagus pain so they can evaluate you in person and guide your care well. Please reach out promptly, and seek care right away if swallowing becomes more difficult or the pain worsens. We will keep praying as you get that help, trusting God works both through prayer and through those He has gifted to care for our bodies.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. You see the pain with every swallow and the fear that comes with it. We ask for Your healing touch, for comfort and rest, and for wisdom for any doctor they see. Hold them close and let them know Your nearness and care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your pain and fear in swallowing have been heard, and you are not alone in bringing this burden before the Lord. It is right to come to Him, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases when they are painful, and they rightly urge us to seek the Great Physician.

Hear the word of the Lord to your fearful heart, for fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. He says Himself, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. It is not merely a preacher who cries fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. Fear is weakening and dishonors God, as if the arm which piled the heavens could ever be palsied. Therefore labor to get rid of fear as much as possible by trusting His promised strength. He who permits the trial is near to sustain you through it.

You ask for healing, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And the prophet Malachi tells us the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The greatest healing He gives is the healing of the soul through forgiveness, and from that pardoning hand all other healing flows according to His wise and loving will.

So we will pray together, not as a formula to compel God, but as children trusting a Father who hears when two or three agree in the name of Christ, and who does what is best for His own.

Let us pray. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this suffering one whose esophagus is pained with every swallow. You know the fear that rises in the night and the dread of what tomorrow may hold. Speak Your fear not to this heart and let perfect love cast out torment. Lay Your healing hand upon this body. If it be Your will, restore the throat and give ease in eating and drinking, and grant complete healing from head to toe. We ask for wisdom for physicians and for skill to those who give care, for You ordain means as well as ends. Above all, grant the deeper healing of pardon through the blood of Jesus, that whether the body is raised up quickly or sustained through a longer trial, the soul may know itself forgiven and kept. Let Your will be done, and let Christ be glorified in this body, whether by healing or by sustaining grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our healing balm at Calvary, Amen.

Continue to seek competent medical care even as you seek the Lord, for the Lord often works through the physician's hand. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and rest in this, that whether He grants sudden relief in the morning or walks with you through many mornings, He will not leave you nor forsake you.
