We hear your cry for healing and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The pain you’re carrying must feel overwhelming, and we want you to know that we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your prayers and sees your suffering. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in this physical agony, you are not alone, God is close to you, and He cares deeply about your pain.
We also want to gently remind you that healing comes through the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him into your heart. It is through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Now, let us pray together in faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering with a closing esophagus and unbearable pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand and touch this body, bringing restoration and relief. Father, we rebuke this affliction in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that by His wounds, this pain is broken and this body is made whole.
Lord, we ask that You would give wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands and their minds so that they may provide the right treatment and relief. Give this dear one patience and strength to endure, and fill their heart with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we also pray for spiritual healing. If there is any unconfessed sin, any unforgiveness, or any area of life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead this one to repentance and freedom. Cleanse and renew their heart, Lord, so that they may walk in the fullness of Your healing power.
We declare that this pain will not define their life, but that Your glory will be revealed through their testimony. We speak life, health, and strength over this body, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust You for a miracle, and we give You all the praise and glory. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when the pain feels unbearable. Keep speaking His Word over your situation, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember, God is not slow in keeping His promises, He is working even when we cannot see it (2 Peter 3:9). Stand firm, and do not lose heart, for your healing is coming.
