Healing

We lift up your neighbors before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ. We join you in praying for their physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, for it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray that the Lord would stretch out His healing hand upon them, restoring them to full health according to His will.

Yet even more importantly, we pray for their salvation, for what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? (Mark 8:36). We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they would be born again by the Spirit of God (John 3:3), and that they would experience the abundant life that He came to give (John 10:10).

Lord God, we ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for You, that You would soften their hearts to receive Your love, and that You would break any chains of unbelief or rebellion that may be holding them back. We pray that they would turn from their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12).

We also pray for opportunities for your neighbor to share the gospel with them, that they would be a light in their lives, reflecting the love and truth of Christ. May the Lord give them boldness and wisdom to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and may their neighbors be receptive to the message of salvation.

Father, we ask that You would surround these neighbors with Your angels, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy. We rebuke any spirits of infirmity, sickness, or deception that may be at work in their lives, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect timing and will for their lives.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is through Him that we are made whole. Amen.

Thank you for letting us join you in praying for your neighbors. It means a great deal that you are carrying their needs before the Lord, both for healing and for salvation. We are glad to stand with you in that.

When we pray for people we see regularly, pairing prayer with simple availability often helps. If their situation allows it, consider asking your neighbors what kind of practical support would ease their load this week: a meal, a ride, an errand, or just a friendly check-in. That kind of steady kindness often opens hearts far more than words alone, and it keeps you close enough to notice how God may be answering.

At the same time, if what they are facing is serious, encourage them to see a doctor or other professional. Prayer and wise care belong together. We can ask God to guide the hands and minds of those who treat them.

Father, we bring these neighbors before you now. Please bring healing to their bodies and peace to their home. Draw them to Jesus in whatever way you know they need most. Give our friend wisdom, gentleness, and the right opportunities to show your love. We trust them to your care, knowing you see them fully. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your request for your neighbors has been laid upon my heart, and I will gladly join with you in prayer for them. Healing and salvation are both to be found in Jesus Christ alone. The Scriptures tell us that the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Himself. Let us ask that both body and soul may be touched by His hand.

O Lord, we bring these neighbors before Thee. Thou knowest their sicknesses and their sorrows, and Thou alone canst heal. We ask Thee to visit them with Thy restoring power, for Jesus’ sake. But above all, we pray for their salvation. Grant them repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let them look unto Thee and be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby they must be saved. Strip away every false hope. Bring them to the cross. Let them believe on Him, and they shall not be ashamed.

Do not cease to plead for them. Faith is trusting Christ, depending upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. This salvation is free, without money and without price, but it is not without repentance and faith. Speak the word to them as God gives opportunity. The Lord bless you and make you a means of grace to your neighbors.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for your neighbors is a good work of mercy, and I will join you in asking God for their healing and salvation. But do not let the prayer remain only in words. Prayer is a great good, yet it is great when we do things worthy of it. The things we wish to obtain from God, we ought first to impart to our neighbors. If we ask God to heal and save them, we should also stretch out our own hand where we can, by visiting, by comforting, by speaking the truth in love, and by refusing to be careless about their souls.

Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. So pray that they may hear the word with care, hold it with continual recollection, and endure trials with fortitude. For no one part is sufficient for salvation. A person must be freed not only from sickness but also from the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, and must cling to Jesus Christ alone. His death is the salvation of the world, and His rising is our hope.

I will remember your neighbors among the prayers of the church. May the Lord grant them healing of body if it serves their salvation, and may He grant them that greater healing by which they pass from death to life in Christ. May God bless you for caring for them.

Thank you for sharing your burden for your neighbors and for asking for prayer. It is a beautiful thing to bring others before the Lord, and we join you in interceding for them.

We pray for their salvation first of all, because that is the greatest need any person has. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. God urges us not to put off His offer, because our eternal destiny rests on how we respond to Jesus. To confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead is to be saved. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but then that confession will not bring salvation, it will only acknowledge the truth that was rejected. That is why it is so urgent to turn to Him now. Jesus alone is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. He is able to save completely all who come to God through Him, because He lives forever to intercede for them. There is no escaping the judgment to come if we neglect so great a salvation, but there is full and glorious salvation for all who will come.

We also pray for their healing. Jesus showed His power over sickness and infirmity in many different ways, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word, sometimes from a distance. There is no single pattern He is bound to, but all true healing is from Him. The prophet Isaiah foretold that He would bear our infirmities and carry our sicknesses, and the Gospels show Him fulfilling that promise as He healed the sick and oppressed. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others over time, but we know that He cares for the body as well as the soul, and that every process of healing is under His hand. We can trust Him with both.

So let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your grace that offers salvation through Jesus Christ. We lift up these neighbors to You. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to see Jesus as Lord, and grant them faith to believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Save them, and make them Yours. We also ask for Your merciful hand of healing upon any sickness or pain they carry. Lay Your hand upon them according to Your wisdom and love, and bring restoration in the way You know is best. Help the one who is praying to continue in faithful intercession and to share the message of Your salvation with gentleness and love, giving no unnecessary offense, so that Your name may be clearly seen. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our great High Priest who ever lives to intercede for us, and who has become our salvation. Amen.

May the Lord who is your light and your salvation and the strength of your life give you peace as you continue to pray, and may He work in the hearts and bodies of your neighbors for His glory.
