Healing

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ###’s daughter in earnest prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits together our bones and frames in our mothers’ wombs, and the One who holds every breath in Your hand. The Scripture tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over ###’s daughter today. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand and restore her body, mind, and spirit. Breathe life where there is struggle, strength where there is weakness, and hope where there is despair.

We also recognize, Father, that life is a precious gift from You, and only You know the number of our days. In James 4:14-15, we are reminded, "Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'" Lord, we surrender ###’s daughter into Your sovereign care, trusting that Your will is perfect, even when it is difficult for us to understand. Give ### and their family peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke fear, doubt, and the spirit of despair in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name and command every hindrance to healing to be removed. We declare that by His stripes, ###’s daughter is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for the medical team attending to her, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and skill beyond their training, for You are the God who gives wisdom generously to all without reproach (James 1:5).

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in the life of ### or their family, we ask that You would bring it to light and lead them to repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your goodness. Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the comfort of Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter in times of trouble.

We also pray for the other individuals involved in the accident. If there are wounds, physical, emotional, or spiritual, we ask for Your healing touch over their lives as well. May this tragedy not be in vain, but may it serve as a testimony to Your power, grace, and mercy.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can approach You with confidence (Ephesians 3:12). We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to wait on You with hope.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We are so sorry to hear about your daughter. The shock and fear you must be carrying right now is heavy, and we want you to know we are holding you and your family in our prayers. When someone we love is suddenly on life support, the hours feel endless and isolating. One simple step many find grounding is to let a close friend or family member simply sit with you in the waiting room, not to talk, just to be there. It reminds your body and spirit that you are not alone.

In moments like this it is normal to feel utterly helpless, but we believe God hears every whispered prayer. The same Jesus who wept at the grave of his friend draws near to those who mourn. He doesn't minimize your pain, and He doesn't ask you to have perfectly steady faith. He just wants you to lean hard into his presence. While we pray and wait for your daughter’s healing, we also ask for your own strength, for wisdom for the medical team, and for a peace that truly surpasses understanding.

Father, we come to you in Jesus’ name for this precious daughter. You see her in that hospital bed, and you love her more than we can imagine. We ask for your healing power over her body, for clarity and skill for every doctor and nurse, and for your mercy. Surround this family with tangible comfort, people who will be your hands and feet. Let them sense that you are with them in this valley, and give them the steady reassurance that nothing can separate her from your love. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. A word of His, being His, and coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart, conscience and imagination, desire and affection! A leaf of the Tree of Life is a medicine fitted to raise the dead.

When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! This man did not speak a word, but he lay there repenting that ever he should have lived as he had done, mourning that he should have wasted his life and misspent his time. So he lay there, in the Presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. And He took her by the hand and lifted her up. There was a contact established. Oh, that glorious Doctrine of the Incarnation of Christ! There is healing in it!

Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Having eaten the leaves of the Tree of Life, we shall be healed of all that ailed us here below! We are on our way to eternal health! We have the life within us which is to be perfect forever and ever!

Why should we, then, say, "I am sick"? The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings. And until the Glory life begins, the abiding power of the healing leaves keeps the soul of the Believer in perpetual health and will keep him so, world without end! God bless you. Amen.

The affliction of your daughter lies heavy upon our hearts, and we bring her with all earnestness before the Lord who alone can heal both body and soul. Do not let the silence of God shake your faith. Remember that Canaanite woman who cried out for her tormented child and met at first with a hard rebuff. She did not retreat, but pressed on all the more, until Christ declared, “Great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” Imitate her: approach not as one deserving, but as a beggar for mercy, laying before Him only the pitiful need. What is this earthly life but a shadow? Your daughter’s true life is hidden with Christ in God; if He restore her to you for a season, give thanks; but if He take her to Himself, remember that those who eat His flesh and drink His blood possess eternal life that death cannot touch. So pray with boldness, yet submit every desire to His perfect will. We shall not cease to entreat the great Physician, and we trust that whether in this age or in the resurrection, you will see the goodness of the Lord.
