We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon this precious young man, touching every part of his body, mind, and spirit that needs restoration. Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, for Your Word says in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, anxiety, and despair that seeks to take hold of him. We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh." We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, covering him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet.
Father, we also lift up his mind to You. We ask that You would renew his thoughts, replacing every negative emotion and feeling with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, guard his heart and mind with Your peace. Block every ungodly desire and communication that does not align with Your will, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We also ask, Lord, that Your holy angels take charge over him, keeping him in all his ways as Psalm 91:11-12 promises, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Surround him with Your heavenly host, protecting him from every snare and trap of the enemy.
Father, we ask that You renew his mind, body, and spirit daily. Transform him by the renewing of his mind, as Romans 12:2 instructs, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Let him be a vessel fit for Your use, holy and pleasing in Your sight.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and we declare that every chain is broken, every sickness is healed, and every stronghold is torn down in His name. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Continue to draw near to your son, dear one. Remind him of God’s love and faithfulness. Encourage him with the truth of Scripture and surround him with godly influences who will uplift and support him. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.
