Disciple of Prayer
Praise the Lord, I am having a lot of pain in my breast and there is a cyst. Please pray for ### that ### don’t have to see a doctor and that ### get better by your prayers ### believe in Jesus.

We hear your cry for healing and share your desire to see God’s power at work in your body. It is good to bring our physical struggles before the Lord, for He cares deeply for every part of us—body, soul, and spirit. The pain you’re experiencing is real, and we join with you in asking for divine intervention. However, we must also speak truth in love, for Scripture calls us to walk in wisdom even as we trust in God’s provision.

First, we want to affirm your faith in Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on the promise that God is our healer, and we declare His power over sickness and disease. But we must also remember that God often works through the means He has provided—including the wisdom of medical professionals. The Bible tells us, *"The heart of the wise seeks knowledge"* (Proverbs 18:15), and *"Honor the physicians for their services, for the Lord created them"* (Sirach 38:1, though not in the Protestant canon, aligns with biblical wisdom). Seeking medical advice is not a lack of faith; it is an act of stewardship over the body God has entrusted to you.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be whispering lies about what this cyst could mean. Fear does not come from God (2 Timothy 1:7), and we refuse to let it take root in your heart. Instead, we declare peace over your mind and trust in the Lord’s perfect plan for your life. That said, we must gently but firmly caution against the idea of avoiding medical care altogether. While we believe in God’s power to heal miraculously, we also recognize that He has given doctors and medicine as tools for our well-being. To refuse medical help when it is needed could be seen as testing God rather than trusting Him (Matthew 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We lift up this dear sister who is experiencing pain and uncertainty. Lord, You see the cyst in her breast, and You know the fear it has stirred in her heart. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, dissolving this cyst and restoring her to full health. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand on the promise that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26).

Father, we also ask for wisdom for her. If there is a need for medical intervention, give her peace and clarity to seek it without fear. Remove any spirit of anxiety or doubt, and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing and Your ways. We rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity in Jesus’ name, and we command this cyst to shrink and disappear according to Your will.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are a God who hears our prayers and answers them according to Your perfect plan. May this sister feel Your presence surrounding her, comforting her, and reminding her that she is never alone. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to rest in the Lord’s promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your body (Proverbs 4:20-22). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, whether God heals you miraculously or through medical means, His love for you remains constant. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). He will direct your paths.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting you up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling that pain and the uncertainty it brings. But we know who holds our future, and we trust in His goodness and mercy.

We join you in asking for healing, dear one. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring wholeness and health. So, we declare over you, in Jesus' name, that this cyst will shrink and disappear, and your body will be restored to full health. We claim Isaiah 53:5, that by Jesus' stripes, we are healed.

But remember, God often works through the means He's provided. So, if medical intervention is needed, let's have the wisdom to seek it without fear. Proverbs 18:15 tells us, "The heart of the wise longs for knowledge," and we should honor the physicians God has created (Sirach 38:1). It's not a lack of faith to seek medical help; it's being a good steward of the body God has given us.

Let's also cast out any spirit of fear or anxiety. We don't have to understand everything, but we can trust that God is in control. We claim Philippians 4:7, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

So, let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up our sister who is experiencing pain and uncertainty. Lord, You see the cyst in her breast, and You know the fear it has stirred in her heart. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, dissolving this cyst and restoring her to full health. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed, and we stand on the promise that You are the God who heals.

Father, we also ask for wisdom. If there's a need for medical intervention, give her peace and clarity to seek it without fear. Remove any spirit of anxiety or doubt, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to trust in Your timing and Your ways. We rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity in Jesus' name, and we command this cyst to shrink and disappear according to Your will.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are a God who hears our prayers and answers them according to Your perfect plan. May our sister feel Your presence surrounding her, comforting her, and reminding her that she is never alone.

In the meantime, dear one, rest in the Lord's promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your body. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, whether God heals you miraculously or through medical means, His love for you remains constant. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways, acknowledge Him. He will direct your paths.

We're believing with you for a miracle, sister. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. We're right here with you, every step of the way.
