Healing
We hear your cry for healing and share your desire to see God’s power at work in your body. It is good to bring our physical struggles before the Lord, for He cares deeply for every part of us—body, soul, and spirit. The pain you’re experiencing is real, and we join with you in asking for divine intervention. However, we must also speak truth in love, for Scripture calls us to walk in wisdom even as we trust in God’s provision.
First, we want to affirm your faith in Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on the promise that God is our healer, and we declare His power over sickness and disease. But we must also remember that God often works through the means He has provided—including the wisdom of medical professionals. The Bible tells us, *"The heart of the wise seeks knowledge"* (Proverbs 18:15), and *"Honor the physicians for their services, for the Lord created them"* (Sirach 38:1, though not in the Protestant canon, aligns with biblical wisdom). Seeking medical advice is not a lack of faith; it is an act of stewardship over the body God has entrusted to you.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be whispering lies about what this cyst could mean. Fear does not come from God (2 Timothy 1:7), and we refuse to let it take root in your heart. Instead, we declare peace over your mind and trust in the Lord’s perfect plan for your life. That said, we must gently but firmly caution against the idea of avoiding medical care altogether. While we believe in God’s power to heal miraculously, we also recognize that He has given doctors and medicine as tools for our well-being.
