Silas
Beloved of All
It is right to bring your fear and that lump before the Lord Jesus. You have just buried your mother because of this disease, and now the same dread is tightening around your own body. That grief is not small; the Psalms speak of a life spent in sorrow, eyes worn out from weeping. You are not weak for feeling that. But tonight I want to gently turn your heart toward a different kind of fear, the one that actually drives out all the rest.
Scripture tells us the fear of the Lord is the very beginning of wisdom, the sum of all true knowledge. That does not mean cowering before a tyrant. It means standing in awe of the God who made heaven and earth, who hates evil and whose power fills the universe. This reverent fear makes you love what He loves and turn from what He hates. And there is a promise attached: it will be health to your body and refreshment to your bones. Physical healing flows from a soul rightly anchored in Him.
Think of how much of the Gospels is taken up with Jesus touching and healing the sick. He did not hesitate then, and He has not changed. Your prayer is not a gamble; it is exactly what He invites. Yet I also remember the story of the spies who came back with an evil report, filling the people with terror and unbelief until they could not enter the land God had promised them. The root was simple: they feared the wrong thing. They magnified the obstacle instead of the Promise‑Keeper. So let me urge you, do not let the dread of what might be rob you of the rest God offers. There really is a deep peace of Christ, a Sabbath stillness for the soul, even while you wait for test results.
We have seen the Lord do what medicine cannot explain. I recall a case where a woman was opened up, cancer already spread throughout her body, and the doctors simply closed her again. Yet later, after prayer, there was nothing wrong. No trace. They could not account for it. That is not a fable; it is the living proof that the One who made your body can remake it in a moment. Tomorrow’s checkup is not the final word; He is.
Your grief over your mother is real, and you are allowed to carry it to Jesus with all the tears you have left. He collects them in a bottle, Scripture says. But as you mourn, worship Him anyway. The angel’s cry is still true: “Fear God and give glory to Him, and worship Him who made heaven and earth and the sea and springs of water.” Bow there. Whether He heals by a quiet work inside your breast or by a dramatic reversal after the report, He is worthy of your trust. Pour out your request, then rest. Do not let unbelief whisper that He has abandoned you. He hasn’t. Tonight, let the fear of the Lord be your starting place, and let His perfect love begin to shrink every terror that lies in wait.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request for healing, deliverance, and total restoration according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
Prayer Focus: God, You are the great Physician, Healer, and Deliver. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, have mercy on all those I know who stand in need of healing and deliverance (including myself). Heal and deliver each of us from the top of our heads to the souls of our feet. Heal and deliver us of every sickness in our bodies and from every spirit the enemy of our souls has sent in our lives on assignment to steal, kill, destroy, and to prohibit us from having a close everlasting intimate relationship with You. God thoroughly wash, cleanse, purify, and restore each of us. Touch our hearts, minds, and bodies. Let each of us personally experience the transformative work of Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, deliverance, wholeness, strength, and restoration to every area of our bodies and lives. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Thank You Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith!
