We lift up your dear mother to the Lord, our Great Physician, who sees her suffering and knows her needs even before we ask. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete healing to her body.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to touch her thyroid, bringing it into proper balance so that her body may function as You designed. Ease her breathing, Lord, and relieve the discomfort of bloating. Strengthen her with Your peace and comfort as she endures this trial. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect timing for her restoration.
We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom in medical care, trusting that the Lord can work through doctors and treatments as well. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this precious mother. Breathe new life into her body, Lord, and restore her to full health. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name, and we command this sickness to leave her body. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her feel Your presence surrounding her in this time of need. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already on its way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
