We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing and protection. First, we must address the mention of witchcraft, for Scripture is clear that such practices are an abomination to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We must renounce any involvement in or fear of such dark practices and place our trust solely in the power of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all evil.
Heavenly Father, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke every spirit of sickness, disease, and infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:5-6 that we "shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." Lord, we claim this promise over this family, that You would be their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust.
We pray for complete healing in their bodies, minds, and spirits. James 5:14-15 instructs, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Father, we ask that You raise up this family in health and strength, that they may serve You with renewed vigor. We also pray for wisdom and discernment to seek godly medical care and to make choices that honor You with their bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Lord, we ask that You surround this family with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from all harm. Psalm 34:7 declares, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." We also pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their minds, and their hearts, that no evil may penetrate their lives. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Instead, let them experience the abundant life that Christ offers.
We must also emphasize the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this family has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Father, draw them to Yourself, that they may know the peace and security that comes only through a personal relationship with Your Son.
Finally, we pray for unity and strength within this family. May they encourage one another in faith, love, and good works (Hebrews 10:24). Let them be a light in their community, reflecting the love and grace of Christ to all they encounter. We ask all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
