We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother or sister who is enduring stomach pain. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand upon this precious one, bringing relief, comfort, and restoration. Touch their body, ease their suffering, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also recognize, Father, that healing comes in many forms—sometimes through medical intervention, sometimes through miraculous touch, and always through Your sovereign will. We pray for wisdom for doctors and caregivers, should this be the path You have ordained. Give them discernment and skill as they seek to bring relief. But above all, we trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that even in pain, You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Let this trial draw them closer to You, Lord. May they find strength in Your presence, as Isaiah 41:10 declares: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this time of discomfort. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this pain will not define them, nor will it have the final say. Instead, we speak Your healing, Your peace, and Your victory over their life.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this beloved child of Yours. We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You hear our prayers and answer according to Your perfect will. May this time of trial be used to glorify Your name and draw others to the hope found only in You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
