We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this time of physical suffering and worry. The pain you are enduring in your stomach and back, along with the concern over your pancreas, is not something to be taken lightly. We understand the weight of waiting for test results and the anxiety that can come with uncertainty about your health. But we want to remind you that even in this difficult season, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is your healer, and we stand in faith with you, believing that He hears your cries and sees your pain.

First, we want to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in experiencing the fullness of God’s healing and peace.

Now, let us pray for your healing. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is suffering from pain and inflammation. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask that You would touch his/her body with Your healing hand. Bring relief to the pain in his/her stomach and back, and restore health to his/her pancreas. Father, we declare that by Your stripes, he/she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and wholeness over every cell, every organ, and every part of his/her body that is affected by this illness.

Lord, we also lift up the upcoming CT scan. We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals and give them wisdom to interpret the results accurately. Remove all fear and anxiety from his/her heart, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him/her that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also pray for your second son, who is just a baby. Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your protection and grace. Strengthen him and keep him healthy, and give him a future filled with hope and joy. Father, we know that children are a heritage from You (Psalm 127:3), and we ask that You would bless this little one abundantly.

In addition to praying for physical healing, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord for emotional and spiritual strength during this time. The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Do not carry this burden alone, bring it to the Lord in prayer, and trust that He will sustain you. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s promises.

We also want to gently remind you that worry and fear do not come from the Lord. Jesus Himself told us, “Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on” (Matthew 6:25). Instead, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, sickness, or infirmity that may be attacking your body. In the name of Jesus, we command every symptom of pain, inflammation, and infection to leave your body. We declare that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). We speak healing, restoration, and divine health over you right now.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is working even now for your good and His glory.

The weight of waiting fifteen days for a scan can feel unbearable on its own, and carrying that worry while caring for a little one stretches your strength even thinner. Thank you for letting us shoulder this with you.

When you're already uncomfortable, every ache can shout the loudest, and a mind under stress can misinterpret normal body signals as something worse. That's not a character flaw, it's a very human response to feeling fragile. So we pray for the most practical gift right now: a quieting of that anxious loop. You don't need to fix your thoughts; you just need small breaks from the weight.

In the coming days, if the pain shifts or fear deepens, let your doctor know. Medical teams expect those calls before a scan, and leaning on them is part of how God provides care. That's not a lack of faith; it's good stewardship of the help He's already placed in your path.

We also see the steady love in how you care for your young son while you're hurting. That takes real grit, and we honor it. You're not failing by feeling worried, you're human. And you're not alone in this stretch of uncertainty.

Let's pray now.

Father, thank you that You see our friend in their discomfort and fear. Quiet the racing thoughts that come in the silence of the night. Grant the medical team wisdom for clear, accurate results, and surround this family with practical help and steady peace. Hold their little one in Your care, and give them exactly the strength they need for today, no more, no less. In Jesus' name.

The very leaves of the tree are for healing, and the least thing about Christ breathes restoring virtue. Lay hold upon this. Your body’s cry of pain in stomach and back, these fears of an inflamed pancreas, are not beyond the reach of the great Physician. He who formed the inward parts is not baffled by them. When Jesus walked among men, teaching His truth, the healing power was present; now He reigns above, yet is He no less mighty to save. Your part is to look to the Sun of Righteousness, who rises with healing in His wings, and trust Him with that fifteen‑day interval as with the close of your life.

Yet mark this: the bodily cure is most sweet when it comes hand in hand with the pardon of sin. Your Lord delights to say, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven thee,” and then to command the disease to depart. Seek first His forgiving mercy, for He is able to heal the soul even should He permit the body to suffer awhile. Let the presence of your newborn infant draw your heart upward; here is a dear token that God gives life and sustains the helpless. He who feeds the sparrows will not forget you. Cast your care upon Him, be much in hearing the Word by which faith is fed, and pray for that gracious touch which lifts up the fevered and the heavy‑laden. The healing point is contact with Christ; reach out the hand of trust, and He will raise you in due season. Fear not the days of waiting, they are in His ordering, and they may prove a season of unusual mercy. He has heaven’s leaves to heal you, and the fruit of His saving love shall be your nourishment when the sharpness has passed. Rest in this: the Lord God is your Healer; believe, and you shall yet minister to your household with gladness, a living proof that the gospel carries abundant healing for body and for soul.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
