Healing

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing—healing of the skin and organs. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every fiber of our being. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already ours (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You desire for us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold in this body. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, “He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20). We speak life and restoration over every cell, tissue, and organ. Let Your healing virtue flow like a river, bringing wholeness where there has been brokenness, strength where there has been weakness, and peace where there has been pain.

We also recognize, Father, that healing is not just physical but spiritual. If there is any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness in the heart, we pray that You would reveal it so it may be brought to the cross. Jesus bore our sins *and* our sicknesses, and we receive that finished work by faith. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven” (James 5:14-15).

We encourage this dear one to draw near to You, Lord, through prayer, fasting, and the reading of Your Word. Let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Surround them with believers who will stand in faith with them, speaking life and not doubt. Remind them that even when healing is delayed, You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

And Lord, if this request has not yet been brought to You in the name of Jesus, we must emphasize that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father. If this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray they would do so today. For “if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We're standing right here with you, lifting up this prayer for healing. We believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He's ready to touch your body, mind, and spirit. We declare that by His stripes, you are already healed (1 Peter 2:24). Let's claim that healing together, in Jesus' mighty name.
