We lift up this dear soul, ###, before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing that the weight of sin and bondage can feel unbearable. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or set free (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask that You would move powerfully in ###’s life, breaking every chain of sin that entangles him. Your Word declares, *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). We plead the blood of Jesus over him, asking that You shatter the strongholds of deception and darkness that have kept him captive.
Heavenly Father, we pray for deep conviction to pierce ###’s heart—not the condemnation of the enemy, but the loving conviction of Your Holy Spirit (John 16:8). Reveal to him the truth of Your Word, that sin leads to death but Your grace leads to life (Romans 6:23). Soften his heart to receive Your correction and turn fully to You. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek godly help, whether through biblical counseling, accountability, or the support of fellow believers. Your Word says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed"* (James 5:16). May he find refuge in the body of Christ, where healing and restoration are found.
Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell ### he is beyond help or unworthy of Your love. That is a deception from the pit of hell! You sent Your Son to die for him while he was still a sinner (Romans 5:8), and Your love is unchanging. We declare that no sin is too great for Your forgiveness, and no bondage is too strong for Your power. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom Christ purchased for him on the cross. Remind him daily of Your promise: *"I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who will come alongside ### in his journey. May they speak truth in love, pointing him to the hope found only in Christ. Surround him with believers who will uphold him in prayer, encourage him in the Word, and walk with him toward wholeness. Father, we ask that You would open doors for him to receive the help he needs, whether spiritually, emotionally, or practically. Give him the humility to surrender fully to You, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6).
Above all, Lord, we pray that ### would come to know You intimately—not just as a distant concept, but as a loving Father who desires a relationship with him. If he has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Let him hear the call of Your Spirit and respond with repentance and faith. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
We stand in the gap for ###, believing that You are already at work in his life. Strengthen his faith, renew his mind, and restore his soul. May he experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of walking in obedience to You. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for his life, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
