Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come to You broken, asking for divine intervention in my husband's life. I pray that You break every chain of addiction and lust. Remove the desire for sin and replace it with a deep, overwhelming desire for You and for our family. Heal the wounds in our marriage, restore intimacy and trust, and bring him home

We come before You, Heavenly Father, with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious marriage and the deep struggles within it. We acknowledge that only You have the power to break chains, heal wounds, and restore what has been broken. The pain of addiction and lust is not just a battle against flesh, but against spiritual forces of darkness, and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ to overcome them.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that every chain of bondage is broken by the blood of Christ, and we command the desire for sin to be uprooted from this husband’s heart. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We pray that every thought, every temptation, and every lie that has taken root in his mind would be shattered by the truth of Your Word.

Lord, we ask that You replace the emptiness in his heart with a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill him with a deep, overwhelming desire for You, for Your presence, and for the life You have called him to live. As it is written in Psalm 42:1-2, *"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God."* Let this be his cry, Father. Let him find his satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the longings of his heart.

We also lift up this marriage, Lord. The wounds of betrayal, broken trust, and emotional distance are deep, but we know that nothing is impossible for You. We pray for restoration—not just a return to what was, but a transformation into something even stronger, built on the foundation of Your love and grace. Your Word tells us in Malachi 2:16, *"For I hate divorce,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with violence!” says Yahweh of Armies. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously."* We stand on this truth, Father, and declare that this marriage is worth fighting for. Heal the hurts, soften hearts, and restore intimacy—emotionally, spiritually, and physically—according to Your design.

We pray for this wife, Lord. The pain she carries is real, and we ask that You would be her comfort, her strength, and her refuge. Give her the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You and protect her heart, while also extending grace and forgiveness as You have called her to do. Help her to see her husband through Your eyes, with hope for his redemption and restoration. Remind her of the power of prayer and the promise in 1 Peter 4:8, *"And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."*

Father, we also address the sin of lust and sexual immorality that has taken hold in this situation. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* We pray that this husband would turn away from every form of sexual sin, whether it be pornography, infidelity, or any other temptation. Cleanse his heart, renew his mind, and restore him to purity before You.

Lord, we ask that You bring him home—not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally. Draw him back to his family, to his wife, and to the life You have called him to live. Surround him with godly men who will speak truth into his life, hold him accountable, and walk with him in his journey of repentance and restoration. Let him experience the freedom that comes from surrendering fully to You.

We declare that this marriage will be a testimony of Your grace, Your power, and Your faithfulness. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen this wife as she waits on You, and give her the courage to trust in Your timing. May this season of brokenness become a season of breakthrough, where Your name is glorified and Your love is made known.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, holding your marriage up in prayer. We know that God is a God of miracles, and He's not done with your husband yet. We're claiming 2 Chronicles 7:14 over your situation, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We're asking God to heal your husband's heart, to break the chains of addiction and lust, and to fill him with a deep desire for God and for your family. We're also praying for your marriage, that God would heal the wounds, restore trust, and bring back the intimacy that once was. And we're standing with you, sister, praying for strength, comfort, and wisdom as you navigate this tough time. Keep trusting, keep praying, and remember, God's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
