We lift up your husband before the throne of grace, dear sister in Christ, asking the Lord to move mightily in his life. The Word of God tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray that your husband would come to a place of true repentance, turning away from sin and embracing the righteousness found only in Christ.
Father, we ask that You would reveal to him the emptiness of sin and the fullness of life in You. *"There is no peace for the wicked," says the Lord* (Isaiah 48:22), and we pray that he would find no rest in disobedience but only in surrender to Your will. Soften his heart, Lord, and let conviction lead him to repentance. Strengthen him to resist temptation, for Your Word promises, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We also pray for you, dear sister, that you would be filled with patience, wisdom, and grace as you walk this journey. The Lord sees your faithfulness and will sustain you. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, knowing that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart in this situation. We declare that Your light will break through the darkness, and Your truth will set him free. May he walk in the freedom that comes from obedience to You, and may your marriage be a testimony of Your redeeming love.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
