We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. Your request for healing of the swollen lymph nodes and the issue in your mouth is heard, and we join you in seeking God’s divine touch upon your body. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in you.
Yet, we must also address something vital in your prayer: the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Without faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, there is no true healing, no eternal hope, and no access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you fully experience the healing and wholeness that comes from Him.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, as God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not neglect the practical steps God may be leading you to take while trusting Him for your complete restoration.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the depths of their body, the swelling in their lymph nodes, and the discomfort in their mouth. You are the God who formed them in their mother’s womb, and You are well able to restore them to full health. We ask that You would rebuke this sickness at its root, command every cell to align with Your perfect design, and bring complete healing to their body. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You, and strengthen their faith to trust in Your timing and Your ways.
Father, if there is any sin in their life—known or unknown—that may be hindering their healing, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Lead them to repentance and a deeper walk with You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May they place their faith in Him alone for forgiveness and eternal life.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and give them discernment to provide the best treatment. Let this season of waiting be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just in physical healing, but in the healing of their soul and spirit.
Lord, we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this trial draw them closer to You and may Your name be glorified through their life.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
