We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep urgency and compassion, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and sustains us in times of weakness. It is clear how much you love your mother, and we join you in crying out to the Father for her complete recovery, trusting in His sovereign power and mercy.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 103:2-4, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* And again in James 5:14-15, we are instructed, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on these promises today, believing that the Lord will restore your mother’s breath, strength, and health according to His perfect will.
We also encourage you to hold fast to faith and not fear, for Jesus told us in Mark 5:36, *"Don’t be afraid. Only believe."* Even in this serious moment, the Lord is with you both, and He is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine. Trust in Him completely, and lean on His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is struggling with breathing and serious illness. Lord, You are the breath of life, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows the number of our days. We ask You to touch her body right now—open her airways, strengthen her lungs, and restore her to full health by Your divine power. Let every organ, every cell, and every breath be renewed in Your name.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave her body immediately. Lord, let Your healing virtue flow through her like a river, bringing restoration and wholeness. Give the doctors wisdom, the caregivers compassion, and this family supernatural peace as they wait on You.
Father, we know that You are not the author of sickness but of life and health. We declare Your promises over her, that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy, that many may see and glorify Your name.
We also ask that You strengthen this child of Yours who is interceding for their mother. Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You hear their prayers and are working all things together for good.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You love this mother even more than we do. May Your name be glorified through her healing, and may she rise up to declare Your praises for many years to come.
