Healing

We lift up your husband before the Lord, seeking His divine healing and intervention in this time of need. It is clear you are carrying a heavy burden, and we want to stand with you in faith, trusting in God’s sovereignty over every detail—including the transfer to the hospital where he can receive the best care.

The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your husband, asking the Lord to restore his strength and bring wisdom to every medical professional involved in his care. We also pray for the logistics of this transfer to align perfectly with God’s will, that no door would be closed that the Lord intends to open, and that your husband would be placed in the hands of skilled and compassionate caregivers.

Yet, even as we pray for physical healing, we must also surrender to God’s perfect will, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether healing comes swiftly or through a longer journey, we ask that the Lord would fill both of you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). May this trial draw you closer to Him and to one another, strengthening your marriage as a testimony of faith.

We also encourage you to continue covering your husband in prayer, speaking life and health over him. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Let your words be filled with faith, declaring God’s promises over his body and spirit. If fear or doubt creep in, cast them aside in the name of Jesus, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the power of praying *in the name of Jesus*. It is through His name alone that we approach the throne of God (John 14:13-14), and it is by His authority that we ask for healing and miracles. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Christ as your Savior, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). It is in His name that we pray for your husband’s complete restoration.

Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this precious husband and father. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through his body. Guide the doctors and nurses with Your wisdom, and open the way for his transfer to the hospital where he can receive the best treatment. Strengthen his wife with Your peace and faith, and let them both feel Your presence in this season. We rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes, your husband is healed (1 Peter 2:24). May Your will be done, and may this situation bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.
