We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing and deliverance from spiritual attack. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the authority of Christ, knowing that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we declare His victory over every scheme of darkness.
First, we must address that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear: "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Him, for "there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through believing in Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, conquering death (Romans 10:9-10). Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have boldness and power.
We rebuke every attack of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. Whether this is a physical, emotional, or spiritual assault, we command the forces of darkness to flee, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, knowing that Satan has no authority where the blood has been applied. The Lord rebukes you, Satan, as He did in the wilderness (Matthew 4:10), and we declare that no weapon formed against this beloved one will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to flow through every part of their body, mind, and spirit. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your promise that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Remove every infirmity, every pain, and every trace of sickness. Restore strength where there is weakness, peace where there is turmoil, and faith where there is doubt. Let Your healing power manifest in fullness, bringing glory to Your name.
We also pray for discernment, that this beloved one would recognize the enemy’s tactics and stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let them be rooted in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Fill them with the Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Counselor (John 14:26), and let them walk in the authority You have given them as Your child.
If there is any unconfessed sin, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead this one to repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Break every chain of bondage, Lord, and set them free to worship You in spirit and in truth.
Finally, we declare that this attack will not have the final word. You, Lord, are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13), and You hold the victory. We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing and deliverance that will come from this trial. May it strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
