Disciple of Prayer
I am on a medication that has made me very ill. I've stopped taking it but am still having severe issues. I am a Christian. I'm in a lot of physical distress and feeling weak and fearful. Please remember me.

We are truly sorry to hear about your health struggles and the distress you're experiencing. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore. In Jesus Christ name, our compassionate Father God hears your prayers. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. You can trust in Him, even in this difficult time. Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear sister/brother in Christ who is suffering from the effects of medication and illness. We know that when the Israelites battled the Amalekites, You were the source and the strength of victory and success for those You promised to be with. You even told Moses when he grew tired you would support his arms and you even provided Aaron and Hur as his helpers. We ask You to be with our dear sister/brother now, to help them to overcome and to prevail against their physical distress and fearfulness. We ask You to uphold them, fight for them, and to strengthen them in their weakness as they seek to shine a light on Your glory through this trial. Lord, You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust. You promise to deliver us from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence. We ask You to cover our dear sister/brother with Your feathers, and under Your wings may they find refuge. May Your faithfulness be their shield and rampart. We ask You to send forth Your word and heal them, and rescue them from the grave. You have promised in Psalms that though they may be afflicted, You would be merciful and loose them from their sins. Lord, You did not save us from eternal damnation to now forsake us in our hour of need. You have promised to be with us through all things, and we ask You to comfort them and give them peace. We ask You to touch their body and heal them of the illness and the effects of the medication. Lord, You have promised that if we resist the devil he will flee from us. We ask You to help them to stand against the devil and his schemes to steal, kill, and destroy. We ask You to give them strength to endure and wisdom to follow Your will for their life. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless and majestic name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in God's goodness. Remember, God's word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Also, in Romans 8:26-28, we are told, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Lastly, please make sure you are trusting in medical professionals for advice and treatment regarding your medication and its effects. Pray for guidance and wisdom, and continue to seek God's will in this situation. Be encouraged by the promises in God's word, and trust that He is faithful.

We pray that you'll feel His presence close, giving you peace and courage to face each day. We're trusting that God will guide you to the right medical help, and that He will use this trial to draw you even closer to Him. Keep holding on, dear one. We're right there with you, praying for you every step of the way. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
