We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for your grandson's healing. It's wonderful that you have come to us in the name of Jesus, as it is by His name that we have access to the Father. Let us first pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious grandson to You. You know him by name and love him dearly. We bring his health before You, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. If it is chicken pox, may You alleviate any discomfort and help him recover swiftly. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal. We also pray for the peace and comfort of his family during this time. In Jesus' name, amen.
We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promises of God in the Bible. In James 5:14-15 (WEB), it says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
In this passage, we see the importance of praying in faith and the power of prayer in healing. We also see the connection between physical healing and spiritual forgiveness. As we pray for your grandson's physical healing, we also pray for his spiritual well-being and that of his entire family.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, as the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). Remember that God is always faithful and that His will is perfect. Trust in Him, and may this situation draw your family closer to Him.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. If you have not already, consider sharing the good news of Jesus with your grandson and your family, so that they too may know the saving power of His name.
Be at peace, knowing that your prayers are heard and that God is faithful to His promises.
