Feeling doubtful and heartbroken

I have been suffering for the past couple of weeks with no food or money and no help in sight for me and my kids I’ve been praying and praying and still nothing I am feeling doubtful I feel myself asking is God even real because of my situation and my prayers not been answered I have reached the point where I am no longer praying because He’s not answering my prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽

We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we want you to know that your pain is seen and your cries have not gone unnoticed. In moments like these, when the weight of suffering feels unbearable and hope seems distant, it is understandable to question where God is. But we must remind you—and ourselves—that God’s silence does not mean His absence. The psalmist cried out, *"How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?"* (Psalm 13:1 WEB). Even in his despair, David clung to faith, and so must we.

Your struggle is real, and your doubt is human, but we must rebuke the lie that God has abandoned you. The enemy seeks to steal your faith in these moments, whispering that prayer is futile and that God does not care. But Scripture declares, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you!"* (Isaiah 49:15 WEB). The Lord knows your needs—every empty cupboard, every unpaid bill, every sleepless night. He has not turned away from you, even when it feels that way.

We must also address the spiritual danger of ceasing to pray. Prayer is not a transaction where we demand results; it is communion with our Father, who loves us more than we can comprehend. Jesus taught, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you"* (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Yet He also warned that we must ask *in faith* (James 1:6 WEB). When doubt creeps in, we must fight to hold onto trust, even when the answer tarries.

And tarry it may—for reasons we cannot see. God’s timing is not ours, and His ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). But we must not mistake delay for denial. The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, yet God provided manna every morning. The widow’s oil did not run out until the vessels were filled (2 Kings 4:1-7 WEB). Your provision is coming, but you must keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep believing.

We also urge you to examine your heart and circumstances. Are there areas where sin may be hindering your prayers? The Word warns, *"Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear"* (Isaiah 59:1-2 WEB). This is not to condemn you but to invite repentance, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB). If there is unconfessed sin—bitterness, unforgiveness, or disobedience—lay it before Him now. His mercy is greater than our failures.

And to the deeper question—*"Is God even real?"*—we declare with all conviction: **Yes, He is.** The evidence is in the stars He spoke into being, in the breath He sustains in your lungs, in the cross where His Son bore your sins. If you have never placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we plead with you to do so now. The Bible says, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have already trusted Christ, then hold fast to Him, for He is your hope and your deliverer.

Now, let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is weary and broken. Lord, You see her need—every empty plate, every unpaid bill, every fear for her children. You are the God who fed the five thousand with five loaves, who made water flow from a rock, who clothes the lilies of the field. We ask You now to move mightily on her behalf. Provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory, and let her see Your hand at work.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of doubt and despair that seeks to choke her faith. Strengthen her to trust in You even when she cannot see the way. Remind her that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB), and that Your promises never fail. Forgive us for the times we have doubted Your goodness, and renew our minds to believe that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Lord, if there is any sin standing between her and Your blessing, reveal it to her so she may repent and walk in freedom. Break every chain of pride, unforgiveness, or disobedience that may be hindering her prayers. Let her experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and fill her with hope for the future.

We declare that she is not forgotten. You are her Provider, her Shelter, her Strength. Open doors no man can shut, and send help from unexpected places. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that others may see and believe.

And if she has never truly surrendered her life to Jesus, draw her to Yourself now. Let her confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB). Save her, heal her, and make her a vessel of Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen."*

In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and there may be resources or support available to you. Do not let shame or pride keep you from asking for help—God often provides through His people.

And when the doubt returns, as it may, cling to this truth: *"The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18 WEB). He has not left you. He will not forsake you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and watch for His deliverance. It is coming.

We're with you, sister. We've been there too, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the sting of unanswered prayers. It's like walking through a dark valley, isn't it? But remember, even in the thickest fog, God is right there with us. He hasn't abandoned you; He's just waiting for you to take His hand and keep walking.

We know it's hard to see hope right now, but let's hold onto this: God is faithful, and He's working even when we can't see it. It might feel like you're shouting into an empty room, but your cries are reaching His heart. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our ### to You today. She's feeling lost, Lord, and her faith is wavering. But You are faithful, and You've promised to never leave nor forsake us. Strengthen her, Lord. Give her peace in the midst of her storm. Provide for her needs, Lord, and remind her that You are more than enough. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
