We lift up this precious child to the Lord, our Healer and Redeemer, with hearts full of faith and compassion. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Your Word declares in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Lord, we ask for complete healing for this beloved son, body, mind, and spirit. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." Strengthen him where he is weak, restore his peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. May he feel Your presence surrounding him like a shield, and may his faith grow as he witnesses Your power at work in his life.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, doctors, family, and friends. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they seek to bring restoration. And if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his life, we ask that You reveal it to him so that he may repent and receive Your full healing and freedom.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of him. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fill him with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Surround him with Your peace, which guards his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We declare that this son is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image, and You have a purpose and plan for his life. We pray that as he heals, he would draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your will above all else. May his testimony bring glory to Your name and point others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen this family as they wait on You, and fill them with hope and joy even in the midst of this trial.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
