We join together with you in prayer for your loved one and his healing after this fall in the coffee bar, asking God for mercy over his ribs and every other part of his body that needs restoration.

We know how painful and frightening rib injuries can be, and how they affect every breath and movement, and we bring him before the Lord who is our healer. We are reminded that Yahweh is the one who heals us, as it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And again, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We take comfort that by His wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5, and that He has promised, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And scripture tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10. It is through Jesus we can boldly bring every need for healing and help to God.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You see his pain, You know every rib that is bruised or fractured and every other injury hidden from sight. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, to ease his pain with every breath, to mend bone and tissue, and to restore him to full health according to Your will. We pray, I am Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, over him now. Grant wisdom to any doctors and caregivers, give him rest and comfort, and guard him from complications or infection. Surround him and his family with Your peace that surpasses understanding and strengthen their faith as they wait on You. We also ask for Your provision and guidance regarding the circumstances of this fall, that what needs to be addressed will be addressed with honesty and justice. We thank You that You are near to those who call upon You and that You hear our prayers through Your Son. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust the Lord through this recovery, and if he is able, to anoint with oil and pray as James instructs, Is any among you sick, Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:14-15. Keep seeking Him, keep thanking Him even in this trial, and may the Lord bring complete healing and comfort in His perfect time.

Thank you for letting us pray with you for your loved one. We were sorry to hear about his fall in the coffee bar and the injury to his ribs. We can imagine how painful and worrying this has been for both of you, and we are holding you both before the Lord.

Rib injuries can make every breath and movement difficult, so we are asking God for gentleness and comfort for him right now and for healing in his ribs and any other place he was hurt in the fall. If he has not already been evaluated, we gently encourage making sure he is seen by a doctor soon and following what they advise, alongside continuing in prayer. That kind of care can bring reassurance and help guide the next steps.

We know the days of healing can feel long and tiring while pain lingers. We are praying for steady improvement for him, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for peace and strength for you as you support him. Please let others around you know how they can help you both practically in this time, and let us keep praying with you.

Father, we lift this dear man to you and ask for your mercy and care over him. Ease his pain, bring healing in your kindness, and guide those who are treating him. Give rest where there is discomfort and give his loved one peace and strength as they walk through these days together. We entrust him to your good hands in Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for healing of ribs and for whatever else needs to be healed after that fall in the coffee bar has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek the Physician, and how merciful it is that our Lord Jesus is that Physician. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least things about Christ have a healing virtue in them. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and as the Sun of Righteousness He rises with healing in His wings.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon these injured ribs, ease pain, mend what has been broken or bruised in the fall, and restore strength for daily life. We ask that He would guide those who give medical care and grant a recovery that is sure and complete, and that with each increase of strength there would be new cause to give thanks to Him.

We are also reminded that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick He said, your sins are forgiven you, and He still heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. So we pray not only for the body to be made whole, but for the soul to know the deeper healing that comes through faith in Christ alone, for He is our strength and righteousness and all.

May the Lord show His compassion in this affliction, keep you in His care, and bring you to health again to serve Him. We commend this need to our gracious God who is able to heal and willing to save, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
