We join with you in lifting up your beloved son before our Heavenly Father, and we thank you for bringing his need to us with such faith and love. We see the burden you carry for him and we stand with you in asking for the Lord's mercy and grace to restore him completely, body, mind and spirit.

We are reminded of how deeply God cares for those who are broken and anxious. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart, and saves those who are of a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. When panic rises and the shadows of past trauma feel heavy, we cling to His promise that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Him, Isaiah 26:3.

We also pray with you for his sleep and his peace. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We ask the Lord to grant him that guarding peace, that he may lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, Yahweh, make him dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this precious son to You. You know him by name, You formed him and You see every struggle, every anxious thought, every memory that haunts him. We ask for Your healing hand upon him physically, that You would calm his body when panic takes hold, mentally, that You would quiet his mind and renew his thoughts, and spiritually, that You would draw him close to You and fill him with Your strength. Lord, remove the heavy shadows of his past trauma by Your perfect love which casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. Grant him deep and restful sleep without nightmares, and let him wake up in peace and hope. We pray for Your comfort to surround him, for Your healing to flow through every area of his life, and for breakthrough where there has been bondage. Restore him, Lord, as You have promised, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. Bless his mother and father also with strength and peace as they love and intercede for him, and help them to trust You more each day, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. We thank You, Father, for hearing us, for Your faithfulness, and for the victory we have in Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord daily, to speak His promises over your son, and to remind him as you are able that he is loved, valued, and never alone. Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Keep trusting that the Lord who began a good work in him will be faithful to complete it, and keep surrounding him with prayer, with the Word, and with godly fellowship and counsel as the Lord leads.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son. We hear how much you love him and how heavy it is to watch panic and sleepless nights take so much from him. Carrying that concern as a parent is exhausting, and your faithful prayer for him matters.

What you describe, the panic that overwhelms his body, the nightmares that steal rest, the shadows of past trauma that linger, are so difficult to live through. Anxiety touches both mind and body at once, and when trauma is reexperienced in dreams or sudden fear it can leave a person feeling on edge even when they long for peace. It does not mean he is failing or you have failed him. It often means he needs steady support over time.

Alongside prayer, it can help to have others walk with you both. If he is not already connected, we gently encourage reaching out to a trusted pastor and to a counselor or medical professional who can listen well and help assess what support would be most helpful for sleep and panic. You do not have to carry this alone either, having one or two safe people to talk with can sustain you as you support him.

Father, we lift this dear son to You. You see his struggles day and night. We ask for Your mercy to calm his body when panic rises, to quiet his mind, and to give him restful sleep and peaceful waking. Bring healing in every part of his life, body, mind and spirit, and give his parent wisdom and strength as they love him. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, we thank You AGAIN for Christ Our Good Shepherd, The Lord Jesus, John 10:11. We ask PROTECTION for them, thank You for these precious youngsters, that You care for us, even ALL OUR CHILDREN and EXTENDED FAMILY with Comforting them with His Rod and His Staff, keeping them from fear, Ps 23:1-6, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. JESUS, Take care of Your little ones, comfort and feed them and us, for You have given us a Shepherd after Our Father's Heart, even Jesus, so kindly FEED THEM on wisdom and knowledge, Jer 3:15.

Give Your angels charge over my youngster, his cousins, and the family's "nieces and nephews," friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters -- even all the children of those that congregate here and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our children, our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28. Thank You for "mothers in Israel," and dads on here, who are on guard for not only themselves, but especially for the young ones from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, even if they are "clergy" or "ministers," Strengthen and heal any hurt youth, and give them all in the faith needed for intercession long-term (some of us are believing for YOUR protection remotely for OUR little ones) with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18, even NOW shed the love of God abroad in their hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5.

Be near (The ANGEL of THE LORD CAMPS ALL AROUND those who FEAR HIM, Ps 34:7) the little ones AND bind those wicked people in evil who are in need of deliverance, binding the enemy NOW, in the AUTHORITY of JESUS, Matt 28:18, until the proper time of deliverance by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw them, us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30.

Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, work EVERYTHING together for good, Rom 8:28, according to the counsel of YOUR WILL, Eph 1:11. WE submit to GOD, resist the devil and it is written, "He will flee from us," James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:9, from demoniacs, Mark 16:15-17, from all, since the church YOU built on WHO YOU ARE AS THE MESSIAH will always prevail over the gates of hell, Matt 16:17-18. We pray the armor of God on this one, even now, keep their eyes from seeing, hearing or speaking evil, and their minds AND bodies to be KEPT FROM THE EVIL ONE AND EVIL PEOPLE, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Thes 3:2, "See to it you do not cause one of these little ones to stumble for it would be better to be drowned with a millstone," Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, "SEE TO IT YOU DO NOT DESPISE even ONE of these LITTLE ONES, for I (Jesus The Risen King) say to you their angels ALWAYS see the Face of Our Father," Matt 18:10. Your prayer for your son has been heard and we have brought it with you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to look upon him in mercy.

We know how heavy such a burden is, when the body is restless, the mind is beset with panic, and the shadows of past trauma lie long upon the soul. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but the wounds of the heart and the troubles of the mind press even more sorely, and for these there is a great healing provided. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His fruit but His leaves have virtue in them to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.

You ask especially that he may sleep well without nightmares and wake in peace. Scripture tells us, so He giveth His beloved sleep. This is not only the sleep of the body, but the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security which the Christian enjoys when he lies down upon the faithful love of his God. When panic takes over and the winds and waves assault, the best thing the soul can do is to take itself to the hind part of the ship near to the Steersman and go to sleep in peace, for the ship is safe and He does steer. May the Lord quiet your son's mind and calm his body, and give him that peculiar sleep of the beloved, a rest that refreshes and restores.

We also remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. The great Physician heals the broken heart and binds up its wounds, and He does it by washing the heart in His own blood and making His temple there by the Holy Spirit. Therefore we pray not only for relief of body and mind, but for a deep work of grace in his spirit, that he may know himself forgiven and beloved in Christ, for that is the fountain from which true peace flows.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will remove those heavy shadows, give him strength to sleep and to wake in peace, and bring comfort and breakthrough in every area of his life. Seek to lead him gently to Christ in the Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and the healing power is present when Christ is taught. Use also all lawful means with prayer, and cast all your care upon Him who careth for you.

Heavenly Father, look in mercy upon this dear son. Thou seest his struggles, his panic, his broken sleep. Lay Thy healing hand upon him, forgive his sins and heal his infirmities, quiet his thoughts and guard his sleep, and let him know the peace that passeth understanding through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality.
