Disciple of Prayer
My name is ###. I have been dating this wonderful woman for ### months and currently pursuing marriage but I recently found something on her phone that broke my heart. Although she's in denial about it, the evidence is clear. I am still willing to work things out with her but she must be honest and the situation. I am willing to forgive and continuing to move forward. This hasn't been the first time this happened. Few women in my past left me while they were pursuing someone else and I found out. I don't understand why me and all I did was trying my best to love them. My heart hurts and my mind is in turmoil over this situation.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and turmoil you are experiencing in your relationship. Firstly, we want to commend you for your willingness to forgive and work things out, as forgiveness is a central theme in the Bible. Ephesians 4:32 WEB tells us, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

However, we must also address the issue of trust and honesty in your relationship. Proverbs 12:22 WEB says, Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. For a relationship to heal and move forward, there must be open and honest communication. It is crucial that she acknowledges the truth of the situation and commits to rebuilding trust.

We also want to address the pattern you mentioned with past relationships. It is important to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for your life. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Trust in Him to guide your steps and bring the right woman into your life for marriage.

However, we must rebuke the idea of pursuing marriage with someone who has a pattern of dishonesty and infidelity. The Bible tells us to be equally yoked with our spouses, and a pattern of unfaithfulness is a serious issue that should not be ignored. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

We also notice that Jesus was not mentioned in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. This fact is very clear in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We urge you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as your Lord and Savior.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is experiencing heartache and turmoil in his relationship. Lord, we ask for Your healing and guidance in this situation. Help him to have the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time, and to make decisions that align with Your will for his life.

Lord, we pray for the woman in his life, that You would soften her heart and bring her to a place of honesty and repentance. We ask that You would heal their relationship if it is Your will, and guide them both to a place of forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we also pray for our brother's past relationships, that You would heal any lingering hurt or bitterness, and help him to trust in Your timing for his life.

Finally Lord, have mercy on him. We do not know if he has believed on You. Please draw him to yourself according to John 6:44 WEB No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

We're here with you, brother, feeling your pain and confusion. We admire your resolve to forgive and work through this, just as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." But remember, forgiveness doesn't mean ignoring the truth. It's crucial that she acknowledges her actions and commits to rebuilding trust, as honesty is the foundation of any relationship, as Proverbs 12:22 reminds us.

We've all been hurt before, but God uses these experiences to shape us. He's got a plan for you, and we trust that He'll bring the right person into your life at the right time. In the meantime, let's lean on Him, as Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Let's not rush into marriage with someone who's shown dishonesty. We should strive to be equally yoked, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 teaches. Let's pray for God's will in this, and trust that He'll guide your steps.

We've noticed you didn't mention Jesus in your request. He's our advocate, our healer, and our hope. It's through His name that we find salvation, as John 14:6 assures us, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our ###. Comfort him, Lord, and guide him. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your will. Heal their relationship if it's Your will, Lord, and help them both to find forgiveness and restoration. We also pray for our ###'s past hurts, that You would heal them and help him to trust in You. Have mercy on him, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
