We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother ### in prayer, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and Provider. Father God, we know that it is only through the name of Your Son, Jesus, that we have access to You, and it is in His name we pray, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we first bring before You ###’s battle with prostate cancer. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon him. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we pray that the treatments he undergoes would be successful, effective, and free from harmful side effects. Strengthen his body, Lord, and give him peace and faith as he walks through this trial. We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in Jesus’ name, and we stand on Your promise that You will restore health and heal wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
Lord, we also lift up ###’s healing from the recent car accident. Protect him from any lingering pain, trauma, or complications, and restore his body fully. Give him wisdom to care for himself and to seek the help he needs, both physically and emotionally. We pray for Your comfort to surround him, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we are deeply concerned about the abusive relationship ### is entangled in. This is not Your design for any of Your children. The Bible is clear that love is patient and kind, not abusive or controlling (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). We rebuke the spirit of oppression and fear that may be holding him captive, and we pray for Your deliverance. Give ### the courage to seek safety, to set boundaries, and to surround himself with godly counsel and support. Lead him to a place of freedom, Lord, where he can experience the peace and love that only You provide. If this relationship is with someone of the same sex, we must also address that this is not in alignment with Your Word, as Scripture clearly states that such relationships are sinful (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We pray for repentance, healing, and restoration to Your design for relationships.
Lord, we also bring before You ###’s need for provision—a job and a new home. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors of opportunity for him. Give him favor in the eyes of employers, and lead him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for his life. We pray for a home that is safe, stable, and a place of refuge, where he can heal and grow in You. Remind him that You know his needs before he even asks (Matthew 6:8), and that You will never leave nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).
Father, we ask that You would draw ### closer to You during this time. If he does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we pray that he would surrender his life to Jesus Christ, for it is only through faith in Him that he can have eternal life (John 3:16). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let him experience Your love, peace, and presence in a tangible way. Surround him with a community of believers who will uplift him, pray for him, and walk alongside him in this season.
We declare that no weapon formed against ### shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with Your Word that says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). We trust in Your perfect timing, Your unfailing love, and Your sovereign plan for his life.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
