Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for your son has been received and I join you in bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to God and salvation.
I pray with you that the Lord, who is the true physician of soul and body, will touch your son and bring healing that is physical, mental and spiritual. May God guard him from harm and danger, both seen and unseen, and surround him with His presence and peace that passes understanding. May he know that he is kept in the hand of Christ and that nothing can separate him from the love of God.
In times of sickness and fear it is good to remember that Christ heals not only by a word but by drawing near to us. As a physician endures the frailty of the sick in order to restore them, so Christ has drawn near to us to lift us up. Our part is to trust Him and to follow the ways He has given for our good, listening to His word and obeying it with faith.
I encourage you to continue in prayer from the heart, wherever you are, for God hears the cry that is offered inwardly even when no other voice hears it. Let the Scriptures and psalms be your daily strength, for there is great profit in them to steady the soul, to turn the mind toward God, and to bring comfort. Keep the cross of Christ before you as your hope and your protection, trusting not in any other remedy but in the Lord Himself who is our only true help.
May the Father grant your son renewed strength in body, clarity and calm in mind, and life in the Spirit through faith in His Son. May He keep your family in His grace and fill your home with thankfulness for all He has done.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and care. Lay Your healing hand upon this son, protect him in every place, and let Your peace rest upon him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
