We thank you for entrusting this burden to prayer and we join you in lifting your son before our merciful Father.
We ask the Lord Jesus Christ, the true Son of God who took our infirmity upon Himself that we might become sons of God, to touch your son in body, mind and spirit. He alone is able to heal, for He does not need to ask another but is Himself able to do this, and His love is shown in proportion to faith. We pray that God would grant healing according to His wisdom, restore strength where there is weakness, bring clarity and peace where there is distress, and above all draw your son into deeper life in Christ.
We also pray for protection, that the Lord would guard him from harm and danger, seen and unseen, and surround him with His presence. May he know not charms or empty remedies but the one true defense which is Christ Himself, and may he learn to hear the commandments of Christ with a spiritual mind and to trust them in love for the Father and the Son.
We ask the Father to give you also peace as you wait on Him, and to keep you steadfast in prayer and trust. Though healing may not come at once, the Lord who delays judgment out of loving kindness is patient and hears every prayer, and often works through many prayers to bring forth fruit in His time.
Heavenly Father, we place this son into Your hands. Touch and heal him physically, mentally and spiritually. Keep him from all evil, cover him with Your presence and fill him with Your peace. Lead him to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to walk in Your ways. We ask this in the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son and for allowing us to pray with you for him. Your love as a parent reflects the Father's love for His children, and it is right to bring your son before the Lord in every area of his need.
We join you in asking for God's mercy and healing touch upon him, body, mind and spirit. Scripture shows us that God cares for the whole person. There is a close connection between the health of the body and the well being of the soul, and the Bible speaks of this when it says to pray that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers, and that a joyful heart does good like a medicine. We pray that the Lord will strengthen your son physically, bring wholeness to his mind and emotions, and nourish his spirit through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus is both able to heal spiritually and physically. The prophet Isaiah said the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows and that with His wounds we are healed, and Matthew shows us that Jesus fulfilled this by healing many who were brought to Him, taking our infirmities and bearing our sicknesses. When we come to Jesus as the Son of David and the Son of God, we come to the One who has power to forgive and to heal, and who invites us to cry out, have mercy on us, Lord. We do not always understand why healing comes quickly for some and more gradually for others, and some healing comes through the natural processes God Himself created in the body, but we know every true healing is from His hand and we can trust Him with the outcome.
We also join you in praying for his protection and peace. We ask the Father to guard him from harm and danger, both seen and unseen, and to surround him with His presence. Jesus gives a peace that goes beyond human understanding, a peace that keeps the heart and mind as we trust that God is in control. May that peace rest upon your son and upon you as you entrust him to the Lord.
Father, in the name of Jesus Your Son, we ask for Your grace, mercy and peace to be upon this family. Touch this son and heal him according to Your will, restore him in body, renew him in mind, and draw him close to You in spirit. Keep him under the shadow of Your hand, protect him from every evil, and fill him with Your presence and peace. We thank You for Your love and Your care, and we place him in Your hands, trusting in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
