We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We stand in agreement with you for his complete healing and protection, body, mind, and spirit. We are reminded of the Lord's promises to His children, for He is our healer and our refuge. Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore you to health, and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 41:10 tells us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. For his protection we cling to Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and to Philippians 4:7, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Together we pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this precious son to You. Lord, we ask that You would touch him with Your healing hand. Heal him physically where there is sickness or pain, heal him mentally where there is anxiety, fear, or distress, and heal him spiritually, drawing him ever closer to You. Wash him and renew him and make him whole according to Your will. Father, we ask for Your divine protection over him. Keep him from all harm and danger, both seen and unseen. Surround him with Your holy angels, cover him under the shadow of Your wings, and let Your presence and Your peace rest upon him continually. Guard his steps wherever he goes and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and for all that You do for us, for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to answer. We trust him into Your loving and capable hands. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to speak His promises over your son daily. Keep bringing him before the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving, knowing that the prayer of faith will heal, as James 5:15 reminds us, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. May the Lord comfort your heart as a parent and fill your home with His perfect peace as you rest in His care.

Your prayer for your son is a most tender and lawful supplication, and it is good that you have brought him before the throne of grace. The heart of a parent is quick to feel the sickness of a child, and our Heavenly Father, who gave that parental love, feels with you and far more deeply still.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, but how much more should we care for the soul and mind and body together and bring them to the one Great Physician. Scripture tells us that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations. That healing tree is Christ Himself. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. He used no other remedy in healing our sin sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. This is the one great cure all, and blessed be His name, the bitter cup was drained by Himself that we might be made whole.
Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The medicine is appointed for the very purpose of healing, and it grows for the sick. If you are sick at heart you may freely come. As a thirsty man does not pause to ask whether he may drink at a fountain placed for the thirsty, so you may come with your son in prayer and partake of the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who bore our sins in His own body on the tree and was made a curse for us that we might be healed, we ask You to lay Your hand upon this dear son. Protect him from harm and danger, both seen and unseen, and surround him with Your presence and peace which passes all understanding. Let the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings, and let him know that he is kept as a beloved child.
