Healing, protection

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, please touch and heal my son ###, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Protect him from harm and danger, both seen and unseen and surround him with your presence and peace..thank you Father, in Jesus' name, Amen

We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy and hopeful hearts, joining you in fervent prayer for his complete healing, body, mind, and spirit. The Word of God assures us that "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Isaiah 53:4 WEB), and we stand on this promise, believing that Jesus is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We declare that by His stripes, your son is healed (1 Peter 2:24 WEB), and we rebuke every sickness, pain, and affliction in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we also pray for your divine protection over him, both seen and unseen. You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We ask that you surround him with your holy angels, command them to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11 WEB), and shield him from every scheme of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and let your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We also lift up his spiritual well-being, asking that you draw him closer to you. May he seek your face continually, find strength in your presence, and walk in the fullness of your love and grace. If there are areas in his life where he has strayed from your will, we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration. "Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him" (Psalm 51:10 WEB).

Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect timing and your sovereign will, knowing that you work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen our faith as we wait on you, and fill us with your peace and hope.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We heard the weight in your request for your son, to see him healed and protected at every level. There is something about a parent’s prayer that holds a special tenderness before God, and we join you in that place of trust right now, believing that the Lord sees your son completely and loves him more deeply than even you can imagine.

When we pray and the wait feels long, it can be easy to direct our attention entirely toward the outcome we want. But the deepest anchor isn’t in getting a particular answer on our timeline, it’s in the character of the Healer himself. Right now, alongside your request for his body and mind, we simply ask that your son would also know the steady nearness of Christ, whether relief comes quickly or slowly. That nearness is a real gift, and it sustains when nothing else does.

For your own heart, carrying a loved one’s struggle can be isolating. You may find it helpful to let one or two trusted people from your church know specifically what you are carrying, so they can shoulder this with you in regular prayer. We are not meant to hold these burdens alone.

Father, we lift up this son to you now. You see every hidden place within him, his body, his thoughts, his spirit. We ask for your healing touch where it is needed and for a sense of your shielding presence around him daily. Guard him from what we cannot see, and quiet any fear with your peace. Sustain this parent with strength and hope, and let them sense your nearness as they trust their son into your faithful hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father, we love because You first loved us, 1 Jn 4:19. We ask for a restoration of our first love, Rev 2:4. Help us "repent and do the things we did at first," Rev 2:5, i.e., when we were first saved [1]. Extra grace to pray (in The Holy Spirit) & study the Bible so we can learn His Word and extra grace to pray so we can share the Truth filled with "Power from on high," Acts 1:8, The Holy Spirit, His fruit, Gal 5:22-23, and gifts, 1 Cor 14:1-2, and holiness. Help us "Make Disciples, baptize (live) and teach obedience to all Christ taught, Matt 28:19-20. Protect us from distractions, sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Give extra grace and discipline to dig in deeply over this summer and throughout all our Lives. Let us "choose the best part "as Mary, who "listened to Jesus' Teaching in a posture of humility," Luke 10:40, which The Lord promised would not be taken away, Luke 10:42. Thank You so much for Your love, Holy is Your Name, in Jesus' Name. "O Lord, please light the fire That once burned bright and clear Replace the lamp of my first love That burned with Holy Fear" Kieth Green, "O Lord, You're Beautiful," May 7, 1980.

[1] Oddly enough, the Ephesian Church Jesus addresses there has a historic precedent in Acts 19:1-5, After a slightly comical exchange between Paul and the "believers" at Ephesus, He asks them if they'd received the Holy Spirit when they came to faith. Their answer is "We haven't even heard The Holy Spirit exists!" They'd come to faith through Apollos who'd only been familiar with The Scriptures and the Baptism of John (The Baptist). After receiving the Baptism of The Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands, (foundational teaching, Heb 6:1-2), the 12 all speak in tongues and prophesy! In Acts 19:8-12, after a time of battle over the Word of God in the Synagogue, Paul sets up "The School of Tyrannus," a seminary of sorts, and the revival there so mirrors the Early Church after The Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-5:15-16 in so many ways that it's noteworthy. They remained under the teaching of the Apostles, the Word spread, the church grew and extraordinary miracles confirmed the move was of God. Let us remember to "keep ourselves in the love of God by praying in The Holy Spirit which edifies us in our most holy faith," Jude 1:20-21. Let us express that love through prophecy (edifying, comforting, exhorting and sharing the testimony of Jesus, 1 Cor 14:3, Rev 19:10), This is an example (from Ephesus -- the church used by Jesus (hand picked) to tell us to return to our 1st love through by emulation of the works they did at first as we repent from anything we shouldn't be doing contrary to doing this as the best part. May God add blessing to His Word, in Jesus' Name, thank You...

The leaves of the tree are for healing, and the very least things about Christ are charged with restoring power. Think not that His mercy is far from your son, for the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Bring the case to Jesus, as you would lay a disease before a physician: make a confidant of Him, and tell out the whole burden of your mother's heart. He who touched Peter's wife's mother and lifted her up can lay hold upon your child, physically, mentally, and spiritually. There is healing in the contact, the glorious incarnation of the Son of God has virtue in it for such a time as this. Did He not bear our sicknesses and carry our sorrows? With His stripes your son is healed; the bitter medicine was drained by Him in Gethsemane and at Calvary.

Peace, perfect peace, this is the portion of the soul whose mind is stayed on God. Pray for your son, yes, but also trust for him, for the promise is sure: "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, silencing the tumults of a wounded spirit and bringing the deep calm of forgiveness. Pardon and healing walk hand in hand. When the Lord forgives, He heals; when He speaks the word of absolution, the soul springs up to life and service. Is it not written, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you"? Seek this first for your beloved child, that his spirit may be sound, justified by faith, with peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Then out of that healing will flow strength for the mind and frame.

The Father looks upon His Son, Jesus, bearing our sin, and the sight so overwhelms the divine heart with love that He forgets the transgressions of those for whom the sacrifice was made. Lay hold on this: God forgets the sins of His people because Christ has put them away. Let your prayer climb to the throne on this ground alone, and there plead a parent's faith. You cry for protection from harm and danger, seen and unseen; and well you may, for the Evil One would sift as wheat. But the peace that God gives is not the false calm of a sleeping conscience, it is the Lord's own blessing, a peace wrought by the Spirit, born of the blood, and sealed by the Word that cannot lie. He can breathe into your son’s soul at this very moment a peace which passes all understanding, a garrison to keep heart and mind. Only trust and leave him in Jesus' keeping; for when loved ones seem far away, in that sacred custody both you and they are safe. Ask therefore, believing, and the healing virtue of the Gospel will do for him more than you can ask or even think.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
