We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the ultimate source of healing and protection. We are grateful that you have come to the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that was shed for our healing and wholeness (Isaiah 53:5).
Father God, we join our faith with this parent, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this young man, touching him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Bring comfort to his mind, peace to his heart, and renewal to his spirit. May he feel Your loving presence surrounding him like a warm embrace, driving away all fear and anxiety.
We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this son is healed (1 Peter 2:24). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, and oppression in the name of Jesus, for it is written that the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We command every cell in his body to align with the perfect will of God, and we speak life and restoration to every part of his being.
Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over him. Surround him with Your holy angels, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Shield him from all harm and danger, both seen and unseen. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that he is hidden in Christ, and no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We encourage you, dear parent, to continue standing on God’s promises, even when circumstances seem bleak. Remember that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in praying and believing. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and mercy that endures forever. We thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and infirmities on the cross. We come before You now, lifting up this precious son, asking for Your healing touch to flow through every part of his body, mind, and spirit. Lord, we declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak restoration to every area of his life that has been affected by sickness or distress.
Father, we ask that You would pour out Your peace upon him, calming every storm within his heart and mind. Let him know that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and let him feel Your love in a tangible way. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus, and we command it to flee. We declare that this son is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for Your divine protection over him, Father. Place a hedge of protection around him, Lord, and let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 34:7). Shield him from all harm and danger, and let no evil come near him. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this family in their faith. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Give them the patience to wait on You and the perseverance to keep praying and believing, even when the answer seems delayed. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for moving on behalf of this son. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
